Hotel Caneva

This was one of my favorite stays ever! I couldn't believe the amazing view I had and the host was so warm and friendly. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again! Everything was awesome!

Facilities are just poor, bed is uncomfortable and the outerblanket was so old, i feld uncomfortable sleeping with it. For 2 nights it's ok.

Great location. Everything was within walking distance, which made exploring so easy and enjoyable.

The owner was polite and kind. The downside is you have to share a bathroom but we never ran into issues with people needing to use it at the same time. The bathroom was always clean and the location was amazing. I would come back on my next trip.

Unfortunately, I I had a negative experience at the reception. I didn’t understand a price that was explained to me in Italian, I did not understand, than the man was very rude and impatient. I am a tourist — I speak English, not Italian — and I believe hotel staff should be able to communicate respectfully in English with international guests. Aside from this unpleasant interaction, the hotel itself was nice, but the service at reception definitely needs improvement.

Spring mattress bed felt a little archaic, but otherwise fine.

We had a nice stay. No problems. They let us to leave the luggage before checking in time and also after the check out. This helped us a lot. Everything was nice and ok.

Easy check-in, great private room, all the bathroom facilities worked fine, and windows have been right onto the canal and it was beautiful

The hotel’s location was excellent. The room we booked had a beautiful canal view, and everything was very clean.

The owner wasn’t friendly to us, we were given with the wrong address. When we reached out to him for help, he just said to watch the video (we had no idea from which location it had been taken). He ignored us when we said that and texted only to get the key back after our stay. Can’t say it was a very bad experience but definitely not nice attitude. Anyways we enjoyed Venice

Great price and location. Just a few metres from the Rialto bridge and Saint Mark's square. The vent in the bathroom could use a clean. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

Location and size of the room. Separate bathroom. Very old facility, very bad isolation between rooms,. When somebody smokes cigarettes in the neighboring room, smoke somehow enters in your room. We had very noisy neighbors, and it was impossible to sleep. It looks like there are in your room.

The price/quality relation was great, the location was wonderful! Would for sure stay here again :)

I had a great stay at Hotel Caneva. The room was very clean and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day of exploring. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and always helpful when needed. I also really appreciated how close the location is to the ferry station, making it easy to travel to different parts of the city. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay, and I would happily recommend it. I just wish they have ramps for luggages. Not just the hotel but all parts of Venice that has stairs.

When I checked in, I did have a hard time getting in touch with staff. They sent a WhatsApp, but only day of so I had some trouble accessing their WiFi and seeing it. They gave great instructions though when I was able to get their message and I was able to check in okay.
