Emporio Veracruz Hotel

Great location! It needs to be upgraded. It is a legendary hotel but it needs improvements.

Very clean , well maintained facilities. The staff were very courteous and attentive . Good view . The WiFi is excellent . Overall we had a great stay . Air conditioning was great . Everything was excellent .

Everything, rooms were cleaned, pools were great kid size pool (toddlers) and 2 adult pools, jacuzzi for adults, outdoor bar by pools. Waiters take orders from the pools. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant had buffet for breakfast,lunch,dinner or à la carte. Right next to Malecón. Everything was beautiful and would definitely come again.

The view, the breakfast buffet and the pools were amazing. The window view had a little inconvenience, but they help us that night to fixed it.

I didn't like that the pool had some black mold.

The location was great and made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, which made arriving very easy. The rooms were also a highlight — they were clean, comfortable, and well kept, which made the stay feel relaxing. The only downside was that the spa was a little hard to find. It was not very clear where to go at first, so better signs or clearer directions from the staff would have been helpful.

Great location. Fantastic buffet brunch. Clean rooms. Good security. I’ve been coming to Emporio for 10 years and the maintenance has definitely declined. Why can’t they get the air conditioning running in the lounge area? Lots of angry customers spent good money buying drinks at the bar only to realize that the indoor heat and humidity prevent them from staying to enjoy.

Perfect location. Staff was amazing. Very quite. The Buffett was good but seemed a bit expensive and you couldn’t just go get a complimentary cup of coffee.

Great location. Terrific service and very comfortable and clean. Food was good but pricey. So was the laundry service. They charge you per item.

We like the location. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times before and this time we were disappointed with the rooms they assigned us. The room was way too crowded. No space to walk from the door to the bathroom. Not enough space for 3 adults. Bathroom was dirty. The pool was not clean. It needed a good brushing of the walls.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice and friendly, as well as supportive to any of our needs. Also, the pools were great! We had plumbing problems in rooms 407 & 408. In particular, room 407 had super hot water and we struggled to shower & the stink in 408 was very bad in bathroom!

Good location. The shower door wouldn’t fully close.
