Really great location by the malecon with so many cafes and restaurants in walking distance. The staff were so kind and helpful. I really appreciated the concierge Rey, he asked about my stay and then made sure there was a taxi ready for me very early in the morning for me to get to the airport on time!! The hotel is older and simple but clean and comfortable, I had a good stay here!

Location They had the parking lot 2 blocks away from the hotel. You gotta stamp the ticket and we never received instructions on any of this. Instead we had to walk 2 times in rhe heat. Services has many areas of opportunity. Hotel is more simple than its price.

Friendly, helpful staff. We needed to store some purchases and they were very helpful with that, and with loading the taxi when it was time to leave. I appreciated the historic displays in the lobby which were captioned in both Spanish and English. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. The wait staff was attentive. The breakfast area was bright and cheerful. The room was small, but it was clean, the linens were fresh, and the housekeeping staff were extremely helpful when I needed emergency help with something. The in-room coffee was exceptionally smooth and delicious. I liked the areas where the historic character of the Hotel were maintained, such as the lovely floors, and the doors to the rooms. I have very few complaints. There were a few areas where tile was chipped, but I imagine maintaining a historic property is an ongoing effort. In no place was this a problem in terms of sanitation or safety.

The plaza was very loud on some evenings, including a Monday evening, which made it very difficult to get to sleep

The hotel is old and it shows, hard rock beds, no pressure showers, poor quality food in restaurant. The location and the staff is very nice. hard beds, poor food quality, not enough pressure in showers, old instalations.

Love the central location! Staff were very helpful and kind and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Sorry to say it is very run down. (As is a lot of the historic center) And there is a lot of outside city construction as they are concert g the roads to pedestrian only-will eventually be better for the hotel I hope!

Staff was very accommodating and friendly, excellent coffee (in a bag for the Coffee maker) and pool was clean. Were allowed (for deposit) to take towels to a nearby beach. First night no hot water, and very noisy AC, then changed room and all fine. Since I was told I bokked "standard" room, they were trying to find one slightly better. But the beds were small.

Hotel is only a couple of blocks from "El Malecón", stores and restaurants. Great price. Hotel is very clean and staff is very friendly. Beds are very comfortable and the A/C is great (much appreciated for Veracruz' type of weather) Room did not have a microwave nor a small fridge.

Location Old and dirty plus staff was not very accommodating and friendly. Parking was extremely confusing and front desk couldn’t explain how to find the property. We were going in circles for almost 30mn .

The location is as central as you can get. There are lots of restaurants and tourist sites within walking distance. The pool is clean. The dining room, on the first floor, is very ordinary compared with the Sanborns on the ground floor.
