Great location in a fairly quiet area on the lake front. Parking options were nearby and easy and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms had everything a traveler needs - comfortable bed, luggage rack, kettle, great showers, plugs near the bed, and lovely outside space as well.

Nice and cosy hotel

It was so comfortable, we felt very welcomed and we will come back here again upon our next visit to Verbania. The entire staff was exceptional, always helpful for all those needs us tourists come up with. The entire Hotel/Albergo is a clean, cosy and unforgettable place. Located right at the waterfront with car parking, great promenades with beautiful scenery and variety of other culinary restaurants close by will highlight your stay.

Super nice location, wonderful view over the lake, great breakfast by the lake experience with varieties of choices, with restaurant and nice bars direct around so you can grab a drink in the evening/ or sip a wine while looking over the view on your balcony. room is rather small though... I was quite upset about the handling of the parking situation, I asked about the car park before and hotel wrote back about a parking voucher, I then asked extra about voucher at check-in and made very clear that our car was parked justa cross the street. Instead of providing us the voucher as she should be doing, she told me to just pay by ourselves first and come back the next morning. So I did the next morning and was told by surprise that I should have asked about and obtain the voucher by check-in.... I mean... I dont know how I should have asked about it more.... then instead of offering some kind of good-will, I feel the ladies did not really believe what I said. I mean I was satisfied with everything, but this is really a turn-down. As a great hotel they should really be getting these kind of "details" right.

Everything was really nice - The location, breakfast, the staff and the rooms! Not their fault but parking can be quite stressful - would have made our experience perfect if they had their own parking space! But we always managed to find a spot so no biggie!

The breakfast on the terrace was delicious, the rooms for four people were renovated. The host family was very kind and friendly to us and the dogs. Nothing

Exceptional

Great people and location. In between lots of reataurants and close to the water. Difficult parking in highseason amidst tourists and restaurants. Don't arrive during dinnertime. The shower was really small and room looks old.

My rating should be 8, but it isn't. The reason is the use of double standards. I was advised to park my motorcycle elsewhere, but the German guest could park his motorcycle in front of the entrance. I can't stand double standards. I know that the friendly receptionist is not to blame for this, so I gave her the highest rating, as she was otherwise extremely friendly and efficient.

Nicely located hotel right on the lake with beautiful terrace, lots of restaurants, bars, and beaches around. 15 minutes walk to the ferry boat. Lovely place to stay and neighbourhood. Great breakfast, friendly staff, only minus the shower is narrow.

Close to Suna beach, had clima, good night life nearby. Bathroom did not match the quality on pictures. 15€/night/person for breakfast, bed was not flat. Almost impossible to reach by public transport from Locarno, misleading signs, incorrect bus stop schedules.

The location at the front of the lake is very beautiful. It is only a short walk to the pedestrian area. The hotel has a nice terrace and serves a very good breakfast. The hotel is dog friendly. The door lock was not working properly. The room had a door with a window and no curtains, therefore it was very light in the room in the evening and in the morning. There was a lot of noise. And no possibility to park the car close to the hotel.

Nice small hotel well located directly on Lago Maggiore with bars and restaurants in immediate vicinity and twenty minute walk from the centre of Pallanza. Easy walk to port for boats to other resorts on the lake and walkable to botanical garden in Pallanza so we did not need to use our car during our few days stay. Parking available directly opposite hotel or along the lake road. Despite being on the lakeside road the traffic goes on a road behind so there is minimal road noise. Very nice, friendly owner/manager. Lake view from our daughter's room. Very dog friendly hotel. Excellent breakfast in large breakfast room. Our room was on the inner courtyard but it was necessary to keep the curtains closed to prevent guests in opposite rooms seeing in which made the room dark and less comfortable. In the public areas of the hotel there was no comfortable seating such as soft chairs or sofas, just tables and chairs. Chose this hotel as it had a restaurant so were slightly disappointed there were only light meals available for lunch and dinner, however, we had some lovely meals in the restaurants in the centre of Pallanza.

Location, reception staff, cleanliness, breakfast. Easy to walk around lake from front of hotel. Lake view was obstructed by trees.
