Great location! Beautiful lakeside views!

Excellent and friendly staff. The location is convenient for walking the lido and for taking the ferry. Walking distance (20min) within an excellent organic health grocery store called NaturaSi. Beautiful walk north to the botanic gardens. I loved that there are not too many rooms in the hotel, so it felt intimate and cozy. The downside to staying along the water (and the thin walls and window panes) is that you can hear very well all the activity including the curbside restaurants and music late into the night below the window. The chemical scent used for detergent when cleaning and washing the sheets and towels is very strong. The bed was definitely uncomfortable and needed replacing. The breakfast and bicycle hire were a bit pricey for what they offered.

Lovely view of the lake from the room, staff were lovely and very knowledgeable about the area. Room was spotlessly clean, but dated, does that add to the charm?

Breakfast was excellent value for money with a good choice of food. The hotel is very well located along the lakeside in the close to the centre of town and the ferry terminal. Nothing springs to mind.

Wonderful stay. Nice view. 4mins walk to the ferry pier for isola madre and isola bella. Very close to Villa Taranto. Lovely staff. They were helpful especially with accomodating our young daughter. The breakfast was fine but not great.
