Europalace Hotel is set right by Lake Maggiore in Verbania center, with great views of the Borromean Islands. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi, and many have views of the lake. You can walk to Verbania's main square in 5 minutes from the hotel. Tennis courts and swimming pools are available in the area, and ferries stop 300 ft away. A free public parking lot is nearby. The Europalace has simply equipped rooms with satellite TV and private bathroom. Some rooms have their own balcony. The hotel's well-known restaurant serves regional and international food. No soap was provided for the shower and there was no place to put the soap I had brought. Room was tiny. People at desk were not friendly and seemed pretty weird.

Huge room but unfortunately I got no lake view. Very easy to get everywhere from the hotel and it’s right near the ferry station. It’s pretty decent hotel but in my opinion the price is too high for it

Breakfast excellent value for 9 euro. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms was big but a little bare and dated, though there is evidence that improvements are being made - our bathroom was brand new and excellent. Not especially cheap but overall decent for a 3 star hotel

The hotel is right in front of the lake, 5 minutes from the ferry, but no noise, clean, calm and quiet. Rooms with a view are great. Breakfast had a good variety of sweet/salty choice. Restaurant is also a good option. Hospitality was great. Overall excellent stay in a charming old-school place. Bathrooms are recently renovated but they forgot to put shelves/racks/holders for the toilet paper, the shampoo and soap (so one has to stretch a bit to reach them). No tea boiler and minibar in the room.However, we found these minor, relative to the excellent hospitality and stay we had.

The size of the room was enormous, with a stunning view on the lake. The room was very bright. The hotel is a bit old fashioned but very neat, clean and provides anything you need.

Location The room needed a refurbishment it was very old and tired. I returned a couple of days later as I thought I had left something in the room. The staff member I asked was very dismissive and unhelpful.

We stayed the for 6 nights. One of the best places we stayed ever. First line to the lake. Big room with very comfortable beds. Great view. Lots of different options for breakfast. Nice smile staff.

Wonderful location on the shores of the lake. Lovely, helpful reception. Spacious room. Decent air conditioning (needed during our stay). Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice.

The room was very spacious, the location ideal, with a variety of bars and restaurants around A bit old fashioned in terms of style but the bed was pretty comfortable
