Hotel Al Convento is a former monastery in the historic center of the medieval village of Vezzano Ligure. It features a spa, private garden and design rooms. The Cinque Terre National Park and the Golfo dei Poeti gulf are a 30-minute drive away. Each spacious room is individually decorated, and has air conditioning and a TV. Some have views across the hamlet. The interiors retain some of the original features of the building. The spa, the gentle staff, and the cleaning/order of the room. You hear the people walking down outside and in the corridor, but maybe was bad luck with that specific room...

We stayed 4 nights and were comfortable in our room and the staff were all very helpful. We used the SPA , small and clean , efficient but on our second session there was a young couple that not only made a hell of a noise but were continuously video calling with their cell phones even while inside the Jacuzzi. In side a SPA phones should be banned, people want to relax and not be disturbed ,otherwise it was perfect.

Location, felt immersed in the local area. Breakfast was very nice. Room was dark, it lacked lighting. We were not informed of a scheduled power outage ahead of time which caused us to miss breakfast & loose food we had put in mini fridge.

The hotel staff were very nice and the breakfast was also very good. Rooms could use a bit of an upgrade. There was no place to park at the parking in the evening, so, I had to find parking on the street.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Was unaware that there was a Spa at the hotel, and the staff immediately called the staff and booked a massage on request.

Very nice homemade breakfast location in the center of a beautiful village with a great view. Perfect location for excursions in the area. Failure to inform about the use of parking in an area near the hotel after consultation with the hotel

Truly authentic experience in a small italian mountain village - I highly recommend the place Loved the restaurant next door (Osteria delle piedre) - make sure to reserve a table, this is such an authentic local place with fantastic food Loading/ unloading the car is quite a hassle unless you get one of the 3 parking spaces next to the hotel. There is a public parking lot (free) but you will have to cross a large piazza with lots of stairs and cobblestones. the hotel has lots of stairs too and no elevator The oldfashioned hairdryer is a pain - it takes forever to dry long hair The bed was quite uncomfortable, too hard and it made noises with every movement Minor thing, but: please add a decent rubbish bin. The one provided is tiny

This was a very old building with lots of atmosphere on the top of a hill in Tuscany. Can it get better than that? If you have problems walking up stairs this might not be your choice. Otherwise a quite nice hotel with classic furniture.

Very nice and helpful staff The village is picturesque and very quiet Perfectly located to explore Liguria and northern parts of Tuscany Room was a bit small and randomly decorated

Very Nice room . We chose the hotel because of Spa and Spa was just for limited No of person and we couldnt attend. Wi-Fi in the room very poor and missing most od the stay. Breakfast poor, dirty dishes.
