Dating back to 1906, the traditional Pension Lehrerhaus is located in Vienna’s Josefstadt district, within a 5-minute walk from the Town Hall, the Parliament, and the Ringstraße Boulevard. It offers very quiet rooms facing the courtyard and free WiFi access in all areas. Guests can use a common lounge featuring kitchenware, a microwave, an electric kettle, and a coffee vending machine. Food and beverages can be stored there as well. A refrigerator is available on each floor. Vienna’s English Theater is located in the same building as Pension Lehrerhaus, and there is also a supermarket in the building. Many cafés and restaurants that also serve breakfast are just steps away. The Rathaus Underground Station (line U2) is only 656 feet away, and the Theater in der Josefstadt can be reached within a 2-minute walk. A limited number of tickets for street parking are available on request and for an extra charge at the reception of Pension Lehrerhaus.

Good location and friendly staff not having aircon is fine as it’s disclosed but what wasn’t disclosed is that the rooms don’t have opening windows and the one fan they did provide was extremely weak so the room would become hotter than outside in the evening and overnight

The location was good, 20 min to city center, It was clean. No AC and hard to sleep cause of hot weather. An Iron in the room would be helpful. Construction in next door was bothering in the morning.

All good, location was excellent for our stay, sorry walk to the city hall and parliament. Some grocery stores nearby. Room is spacious, view to the inner yard I wish kitchen is equipped better like wine glasses and coffee machine

Amazing reception people. Rare to have so dedicated, kind, helpful and lovely staff. Location also great, close by 2 shops, plenty of cafeterias, Rathusplaz walking distance. They also accommodated early check-in (upon availability), and can store luggage after check out (until 6pm). Lack of AC during heatwave yet was still manageable when keeping curtains closed as it’s an older house with thick walls/high ceilings.
