The family-run Pension Liechtenstein is only a 5-minute walk from the Ringstraße boulevard, the Town Hall, and the University of Vienna. Free in-room WiFi is available. The rooms at Pension Liechtenstein feature large windows and high ceilings and are equipped with cable TV, a desk and a private bathroom. A hairdryer is available in the room for guests' convenience. An iron can be borrowed from reception. Great location, very clean. Helpful staff. Small but super tidy room with a kettle. No air conditioning but as the building is older and has tiles, etc it was ok.

The receptionist was incredibly attentive from the moment I made my reservation. He contacted me to ask what time I would arrive, and on the day of my trip he checked in again to see if I needed any help getting to the hotel by public transportation or with anything else. That level of care made me feel very welcome. When I arrived, he also gave me a city map and highlighted all the main attractions, explaining how to get to each one from the hotel. It was such a thoughtful touch and very helpful.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was excellent—about 15–20 minutes from the city center and less than a 5-minute walk from the metro, which made getting around the city very easy. Very clean room and very good location, votive church is just 5 minutes away, tram and metro stations are very close too. I went almost everywhere on foot. The room is cool which was so refreshing in this extreme heat. Recommend it if you are looking for a budget friendly stay in vienna.

The host was really nice and willing to accomodate my late check-in and early check-out. The room was clean and comfortable, nothing to write home about, but for the price did the job perfectly. There was a huge street light right outside the window, so the room was lit up even with the lights on. Some heavy black courtains could be of use.
