Pension Gross offers self-catering accommodations just a 3-minute walk from Schottentor Underground Station and the University of Vienna. It provides free Wi-Fi access. Three single beds was what we wanted. The room was fine, and the price was good. There was no kitchen/refrigerator in the room. There is a common area for several rooms that features hot water and coffee/tea makings, but nowhere to prepare or store food, so money saved on accommodations ends up being spent in restaurants and cafes. The shower is about as small as anatomically possible.

It was in the center of the old city , near to everything , clean and cozy rooms, contains everything u need , small kitchen , fridge , kettle and microwave , staff were nice No view from room , mattresses weren’t comfortable, price is a bit high for pension ( you can add 150 euro and stay in Helton )

Great value and close to trams/old town. Tea/coffee/kettle/microwave were all available also. Very easy to find due to great instructions from host.

The location was perfect. The old town and city centre is within walking distance. It was very calm, did not feel that there was someone in other rooms. The check-in procedure was very clear and efficient. I appreciated kitchen utensils; very convenient. It was not very clean. There was hair on the floor, the room was not cleaned thouroughly. I also did not like the smell in the bathroom. However, this is most probably due to old sanitary unit and pipes of the building and the Pension has nothing to do with it.

Great location,near public transport and many shops and restaurants. The bed was comfy and you had all the necessary amenities for a pleasent stay. Check in was easy. Would stay there again. A little cold, the air conditioner did not seem to warm up the room enough and the shower door did not close properly which would make the bathroom wet.

Close to transport and restaurants Definitely not value for money!!! Very disappointing!!!Very old!! Doors to apartment were old and not very secure. Beds did not have good mattresses. Bad smell in both rooms one was fishy smell and the other ablution smell. Could not wash dishes properly as there was no plug in sink. It was a struggle to get into the shower. Picture below. Very depressing feeling. Curtains in room 3 did not close so at night the cars lights would shine into the room. Blockout blinds would be great.

It was clean and everything was secure. It was a good location The pillows weren't the best and the blanket was very heavy. It would be better if there was a top sheet
