Holiday Inn Va Beach-Oceanside (21st St) by IHG

The room was clean, you had nice staff and very helpful staff there but two of the lady's was not. The breakfast was the same everyday. Beachview was great. The pool was always cloudy looking and dirty, I dont recommend getting in the pool. Overall it was alright, I seen worst

We had an awesome experience at the Holiday Inn Oceanside on 21st Street in Virginia Beach! The staff was so attentive and helpful. The building and rooms were updated and clean. We would most definitely stay there again!

This hotel was in the perfect location for us. The beach was right there. We could walk to all the shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our view of the ocean from our balcony was amazing. The hotel restaurant was excellent. I would definitely stay here again

The hotel itself is fantastic, being right on the ocean and being able to hear it while you sleep is truly relaxing. The rooms themselves are a good size with nice amenities. All of the staff were kind, helpful, and genuinely seemed excited to assist you however they could. Definitely will return to this hotel as the experience was amazing. However there were a couple issues, first the hot water didn't work overnight. I tried taking a hot shower around 3am and the water was only cold. It wasn't until after 630am that the hot water was available to use. Also the restaurant Hemingway's, great atmosphere, cute decor, food was solid, but the drinks had almost no alcohol in them, which for the price was frustrating, and we had our waitress come back over 3 times to tell us certain items were out of stock, ingredients that were featured in a number of dishes. Also our waitress, while nice, seemed lost. She put in wrong appetizer order, after she initially forgot to put it in because it came after our meal, and we got more help from other staff when it came to removing finished plates or refills. Lots of great food options nearby, unfortunately Hemingway's isn't one of them.

The hotel is centrally located on the Boardwalk and convenient to everything. Very convenient for families or anyone, you really don't have to move your car once you are there!

Cleanliness was just ok. Didn’t want to look at anything too close. Seems like it has had a facelift. It’s a dated hotel overall but fine for the beachfront. We enjoyed our location and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Special shoutout to Rocky at the front desk. She was awesome.

Absolutely Fabulous Hotel with an Absolutely Amazing Breakfast Bar! Everything We Needed or Wanted to Do was Right There Within Walking Distance! Great, Great, Great Hotel!!!!!!!

Great hotel in a great location. Our only criticism was the ever present smell of pot in the room and in the hallways. We understand it's legal but it's a non-smoking hotel therefore it shouldn't be allowed inside the hotel.

The one disappointing part of the stay is that you are charged for parking, but there are not enough spaces for everyone’s cars. So they have valet parking (at no extra charge other than the tip), but that was pretty disorganized and sometimes you have to wait a while for the valet, which made the valet parking feel like an inconvenience. But aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast buffet, room was absolutely beautiful, very clean property, nice location, would definitely stay again!!
