The location was great. The hotel was a great deal. It was in the Sofitel but not as fancy as the Sofitel but for the price it was great. It was fine.

Really enjoyed our room. It was amazing. Especially with travelling to Europe recently, they have such small rooms, this room was big and comfortable. Had a great bathroom with deep bath, sliding door to deck area. big comfortable bed. Would definitely book this place again. nothing to not like.

The hotel is closing in 3 weeks and it is clear the staff have already left or are not interested in delivering service.

There is no service provided … no phone in the room to connect the reception . The toilet got running water all night long …. No aircon provided to the room , it got so hot during the night ( no wonder they provided a tower fan in the room)….and mini fridge is warm . No any condiments ( lotions tooth brush etc) , try to check out at 7:45 am , no one in the reception only a note on the door asked to leave the room card inside of the room …. Then I have to go all the way back to the room again …… really wasted time when you in a rush ….

Tv did nor work.shower was very low and could not be adjusted. Big difference between the service with Sofitel customers and Marsden.

Corner room was terrific for the price. Great view of the marina and the sky deck all lit up in red for the holidays.Convenient location to all events going on. Walking distance no need for a car

Room was great value for money, clean and great location, check in was easy. Could have been 5 star but for a few little things, the internet to the TV was intermittent which was annoying. The roller blinds were broken, and the curtains did not go to the floor meaning sun woke us up way too early but great for what we paid.

Ironically at time of checkin, we were told that a maintenance bond was required if we broke anything - what a joke. Also, I had to engage in a discussion when I asked for two keys. Eventually we were provided with two keys, which is standard across the industry. In short there are better hotels in the area.
