The room was clean and staff helpful. Best part is its location just a 3-minute walk from Union Station.

The hotel is so convenient to the DC train station. We just walked a block and there was the lovely building. We were there in early afternoon and stopped to just drop bags but instead Charles at the reception desk was kind enough to find a room that was ready for us. The coffee on the second floor was much appreciated, as well as the complimentary cocktails from the Irish restaurant on the first floor. The hotel was perfect for our needs and we would definitely stay again!

Great location. Steps away from US Capitol building and museums. They can improve security if they add the room card activated device for elevators.
-
The restaurant was great! I enjoyed all of the food I ordered on different days! The location is perfect if you're traveling by train. The room was clean and the area was great for walking and short Ubers.
-
Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Capitol Hill. Easy access to a number of places in DC. Rooms are well-kept and offer a “better than the hotel box” room. Comfy beds!! Love that the Dubliner Restaurant is accessible to guests - great food!

Great older, smaller, well maintained hotel. Really liked it. The Dubliner Restaurant was great as well. Why 4 stars then. Make sure that you request a non-connecting room. We easily heard our neighbors! In addition, on our first night, someone was enjoying their weed. All night long. Not the hotel’s fault. Just rude, stupid people. Today’s culture. We would stay again though.

Will stay here again. Just wonderful.
-
Nice large clean room. Was quiet at night and close to downtown. I'd stay here again.

Location is great Prices and parking

The staff was courteous and very responsive. The comforter on our bed had a stain on it. As soon as I asked housekeeping was in my room replacing it. Staff was very attentive. Honestly, I'm hard-pressed to think of anything. We've stayed at this hotel many times. We've never been disappointed.
-
Very good position, close to the Union Station and National Mall. Very nice personnel The noise - although we stayed at an upper level, it still was very noisy (from the street).

We stayed five nights for a family DC trip. The check-in was smooth and easy. Staff were friendly and helpful when I needed to have Amazon deliver a knee brace for my son. The location, being a 2-minute walk to Union Station, was a HUGE plus for us as my son couldn't walk as much as we planned. The only downside, which was nothing the hotel could control, is that the area is loud (especially if you're not from a big city). The hotel provided ear plugs. Amenities we enjoyed included: nice shampoo & conditioner, free espresso machines, and free bag-check. We'd stay here again.

Great location! Friendly staff and a fun Irish pub in the lobby. I will be back!

Our room was spotless. The price of the meals in the restaurant were very reasonable

Great property with a great location. Just a couple blocks from Union Station which includes the Metro with access to everything in DC and surrounding areas.
