We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is lovely, the food was delicious, and the staff were amazing—friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. It was truly the highlight of our trip. We would definitely love to stay here again! Nothing!

Our stay was incredible. We have stayed in a few ryokan before, and this was another example of exemplary kindness, attentiveness, and comfort. The children's room and massage chairs, incredible dinner and breakfast, beauty of the hot springs, and comfort of the room made this an absolute highlight of our trip to Japan. The beds were stiff which j actually did not mind but some people may. Honestly, this spot was so wonderful.

The private onsen were spectacular I would’ve liked to have had the option for dinner, but the staff was excellent and pointed me to a beautiful Cafe overlooking a pond.

The staff are so kind and helpful. The private outdoor baths are lovely. Breakfast is good The bed is very hard but I asked for a futon on top and it was fine then.

The location is excellent, quiet but walking distance to where you need to be . Staff are very helpful and dinner was delicious. Room is clean and about average.

Nice architecture, good onsen facilities offering private and public onsen. Short walk to busy street but located at very quiet area. Dinner is exceptional!

Excellent meals presented beautifully. Choice of private baths with no additional charge. View of the mountains were beautiful but there wasn't much of a view if you look down, just parking lot and empty field.

The private onsen was so nice and relaxing and the breakfast was amazing too. They had so many free amenities (even tabi socks) and the room was HUGE!!!. Even equipped with a kotatsu. The staff were very sweet as we were hoping to get a massage and they even contacted places for us. The view outside our window is beautiful too. You can book 2 onsen time slots for morning and night and they are so amazing. I love this stay. Also very conveniently located, you can walk to everything you want to do. nothing :)

Very well kept Ryokan with comfortable facilities and amenities, room was very spacious and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and the sukiyaki dinner was on point ! Private onsen makes the whole experience even more worth while ! Nothing!

Great location, very well maintained even though building is old. The private onsens are very well equipped and set up. Dinner was phenomenal Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Our room at Yadoya was nice and comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful even before we arrived. They made a reservation for us at the restaurant we wanted to eat. The hotel location is great. It is just a short walk to Lake Kinrin and Yufuin Floral Village. There was also a private onsen that we enjoyed. We had nothing to complain about Yadoya.

A large hotel 3 building complex just 2 minutes away from the main tourist area in what appears to be a quiet residential area. The staff were welcoming and the food was great. Plus the reservation automatically came with a private hot spring rental for 50 minutes which everyone should definitely try.
