It felt like stepping back in time to an old grand hotel but with all the modern amenities and without being huge. It was also right across the street from the beach. The staff was incredible Nothing

Room are done in the 70s, 1st line to the sea without any view.

The room was very comfortable, big enough for two persons and very clean! The breakfast offered many choices, had lots of fresh fruit, good coffee. We had dinner at the restaurant, we had fresh seafood, the quality was excellent. There is nothing to say.

The property is located conveniently and is beautifully kept. The staff went above and beyond to help us with our travel. N/A

I didn't like the breakfast. It was so simple!

Every staff member I encountered was polite and helpful. Morning breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant featured very fresh (probably local) seafood and produce. The beer selection, though limited, covered most of the usually expected variety. I stayed for a full week and thought that the morning breakfast was monotonous. Food was good and covered most of the usual options but appeared to be exactly the same thing every day. Niko's dinner menu is largely limited to seafood. I've travelled with a number of friends who don't particularly care for seafood. When I first visited Niko over 10 years ago, the restaurant offered several traditional Italian entrees, in addition to seafood. I thought that the current version of their menu (my 3d visit), was pretty much limited to seafood lovers. If I had been visiting with my usual travelling companion, who eats no seafood, we probably would have had dinner at the hotel only once and then looked elsewhere for other meals. I understand that Niko is a seafood restaurant, but it would be better for business to offer a few well prepared non seafood alternatives. Yes, Niko does have a few on the menu, but they come across as an afterthought, not as a meal option as good as seafood choices. Just a thought. I'd personally stay again and again.

We really enjoyed a hotel Niko I think it’s undervalued for the money we paid. We got a really good deal and had two very nice rooms. The staff were excellent.

Breakfast room was located looking onto a beach and harbor with beautiful views. Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly and the food selection was very good with warm selections prepared by the hotel kitchen. The hotel is older but in excellent condition with updated modern facilities. It’s a two story building without an elevator but staff is more than helpful carrying your luggage to your room. Nothing, the hotel was wonderful and I’d stay there again without question.

Very comfortable hotel with excellent staff

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room that accommodated our family. Nice breakfast. Good communication. Poor wifi connectivity.

  • Engine customer Jun 2025

Breakfast was excellent! Room is clean and has traditional settings, which we like. Restaurant was great and a little bit pricey. None, but I think the published hotel coordinates should be set to the location of the gate, rather than the location of the building.

A really nice hotel love the vintage vibe of the interior. The bed was comfortable and the safety was very good. The staff was very nice in the hospital. He was perfect. They provided me a fan when I felt a little bit hot in the room, which made it perfect for me.

Good and quiet location but not many restaurants around. It a walk to old town. No elevator as it is a boutique hotel. Big luggage will be an issue. But staff is willing to help.

Hotel Niko have Great staff who really helped us in every way with information on city activities and booking taxis. We had dinner on the Saturday night in the restaurant and it was really delicious with great views out to the sea. Zadar is a lovely city to visit and the scenery is breathtaking from every vista.
