The hotel was very clean, provided everything you needed including a coffee maker in the room and a sheet instead of a quilt if too warm. To he breakfast was excellent The room was quite warm, but you couldn’t sleep with the air con on as too noisy due to it being a portable unit, but at least they did provide it and did warn us about the heat

Almost perfectly clean, good breakfast, tiny but cute, in a nice old neighborhood. Very hot during a heat wave, no modern air conditioning- just an old, noisy and weak room-cooler (probably the hotel can not install external AC units in this neighborhood). When the windows must be opened (hot nights), the noise from street is disturbing (tram, building site in front of the hotel).

Very clean compact room. Very good breakfast. Good location close to tram.

Good location. When we arrived we walked from the train station. Although only a 15 min walk it was mostly uphill so we were pleased to discover the No7 tram runs very frequently into the center via the train station. It was extremely hot when we were there so we appreciated the hotel's suggestions of how to keep the room cool. Sheets were provided as an option to a duvet. The breakfast was good with a great selection. Our bathroom was very small.

Excellent location, right next to the tram line. Easy access to central and the station. The rooms were not a bad size and the beds were comfortable. We had booked two rooms and one was immediately available when we checked in at 11am which was nice. The breakfast buffet was nice and there was a good variety of food. The self check in and check out was complicated. Fortunately both times the staff just did it for us. However the staff were not particularly friendly or helpful apart from that. Finally the air conditioning was only a portable unit and did not really cool the room. I realise that this is Zurich and that it is not normally hot however both times we have visited in the past it was hot and the hotels we stayed in had proper air conditioning. Unfortunately the room was so hot that we couldn't really sleep.

Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Rooms are big. First day we arrived before check in time and they were able to accommodate us which was really nice and very helpful. Breakfast is very good when it is complete, but it misses key things at times. Check in was mean to be automatic but in both cases I had to call the staff to sort it. They were very quick to help. Even at 10 pm the second time over the phone. They all speak English which has helpful. Overall the stay was good and we didn't have any major problems. We stayed two days and it was pleasent. 15 minute walk down hill with two large baggage to get to the train station. Even faster with the tram. Is important not to get a taxi to get there from the train station because it can cost over 50 Francs. But with the tram is 5 mins and about 4 francs. Room was big and clean. But not pristine clean, lots of dust under the beds and sofa beds but OK overall. Bathroom was clean. Rooms were a bit warm, they provided two fans. One was OK the other one didn't work too well and was very loud. The staff was OK, but you could feel the smell of cigarrete when talking to some of them. During breakfast, one day, there was no scramble eggs left at 9:00am. We asked if there would be more and were told to wait 20 minutes. We waited over 35 but they never came out.

Breakfast selection Inadequate room facilities Bathroom was not clean Staff not really available for reception
-
It was near to town but up a hill which could be a problem for some No person on check in at about 18.30. Computer check in was not straight forward. They had bikes to borrow but no instructions on how to do so or a person to ask. Entry to room was very cramped and you had to go beyond the toilet to shut the door as the en suite was so small. The air conditioner didn’t work but two fans had been put in. This wasn’t adequate as the temperature didn’t drop below 30 degrees all night so it was difficult to sleep. Breakfast was on the whole really good and varied BUT the scrambled egg and crepes had run out just before 9am and were not refilled for the final hour of breakfast.

Staff were friendly, breakfast was adequate Facilities for the heat were inadequate Staff availability was minimal and staff were trying to run breakfast and reception at the same time. They gave minimal advice on reception.
