Hotel Felix

The location was great, the room and hotel was small but it was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We were even able to get an early check in. Would recommend!

The location was great, the room was comfortable, and the hotel was beautifully decorated. One of the rooms didn’t have AC; only portable fans in a heat wave. The posting should be more clear when booking a room with no AC.

We stayed in Zurich for two nights in June during the midst of a European wide heat wave. Delighted with choice. Excellent three-star hotel in a great location, close to the main railway station, old town and plenty of restaurants nearby, the Central tram stop, Limmat river. Walking through the old town of Niederdorf and Altstadt, along the river to Burkiplatz and the Quai near the Opera. Room in the hotel are compact comfortable and spotless. Very friendly staff. Excellent value for a hotel in central Zurich. Definitely recommended. Air_Con is limited by local regulations and June heat wave could not be attributed to the hotel.

Air conditioning is bad needed given climate change

Everything was perfect except there was no A/C in our bedroom. Apparently, only half of the hotel has it. They were very kind to provide 3 fans which helped. Great staff, location, clean.

The location, close to old town and train station We upgraded and paid extra for air conditioning that didn’t function well. Rooms were very tiny and very hot. So expensive for what you get.

Property is centrally located to shopping and rail, but out of the chaos

I liked the location. The hotel is an-8 minute walk from the railway station and the main street, Bahnhofstrasse. The room and bathroom are clean, renovated and convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is not air-conditioned. Instead, the hotel provides 2 fans, which are inadequate to cope with the heat and humidity.

Breakfast was good. Hotel was very nice. The second room was large. Great location! Close to train station and old town. Staff was awesome! When we got there our room had no A/C. We had to spend our first night in a room without A/C with Zurich reporting record heat. This was partly my fault as I didn't verify that the room had A/C. I just assumed since the 2 bed rooms had A/C the more expensive 3 bed rooms would have. Travelers should verify room has A/C during summer months. With that being said, the staff was able to change our room to a room with A/C. The staff was terrific! Thought it was a little expensive, but that is Switzerland.
