The stattHotel is located in the heart of the Old Town of Zurich on the Limmatquai, right behind the famous Gran Café Motta. Free Wi-Fi is available. All rooms feature flat-screen satellite TVs, a fan, a Nespresso coffee machine, and radio alarm clocks with iPod docking stations. Some rooms have a kitchenette. The landmark building of the statthotel was constructed in 1450 and has recently been completely renovated. The traditional Gran Café Motta is just around the corner, and the bar on the ground floor offers a pleasant setting for cocktails and conversation.

Perfect location, very nice staff. No AC. There are 2 fans, one is VERY loud and also has a strong light that is hard to sleep with, the other portable fan just isn’t strong enough ??♀️ It was very hot in the room.

It was a nice place I asked for a quiet room not thinking I would have to sacrifice a view. The room was very quiet. It was also smaller than expected. The owner was very nice. It was all good.

Loved the location though a bar was just below the room window, all went quiet at 10pm as it should have. The room was clean and the place sort of "funky" which I like for the most part and the room size was fine. The bathroom sink would not drain. I'm 6'5" and didn't fit in the shower - height. The coffee maker needed cleaning out.

Good location and good price Extremely noisy: noise construction started at 7 am. Impossible to close the window due to the heat. Very soft bed.

The only issue was the low beam in the room. It was a bit of a hazard, and should have some sort of caution notice. The other was when the team serviced the rooms they left the linen bags in the downstairs hallway a long while which is tight to begin with.

We loved the location! Right in the heart of Old Town and super walkable. The bathroom was a bit small but that's understandable given the location. Would stay here again!

VERY VERY LOUD. Couldn’t sleep even with ear plugs in. Everyone gathers outside till all hours of the night and then construction starts at 7 am.

Very noize area. If you want to slepp well, take this in consideration.

Friendly staff, great location, quiet. Walking from here was so easy. The restaurants in the area were great. Cocktail bar downstairs. Beds were super comfortable. Rooms were a little outdated but still nice. No morning front desk person to call taxis or something.. but they are there late.
