Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Downtown Albany New York

Very nice staff. Could use a bigger parking lot. We had trouble parking coming back late at night but otherwise the stay was unremarkable.

For the price it was a good stay

Unfortunately, I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel. * Strong cigarette smell throughout the hotel, including rooms advertised as non-smoking. Tjis hotel is clearly NOT a smoke free hotel. * Elevators were broken for most of the weekend (our kids even got stuck inside one). * Not enough parking for guests. A bus taking up seven parking spaces all weekend made it even worse. * Rooms are very run down: dirty wallpaper, worn-out shower head, and in need of major updates. * Overall, a very disappointing experience.

The overall experience is/was phenomenal. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel itself is dated and in need of an upgrade but the staff manages what they have to work with well. There was no meat available for the breakfast and one of the displays needs to be changed(lid wouldn’t stay closed). The parking is not sufficient for a full house. The last night I had to park on the curb. The area seems iffy but overall safety was not a concern.

They had a very neat and clean room with good front desk service and warmth. They were very helpful and the breakfast was nice the following morning. We were only there for a short overnight but like many budget level hotels the repair and refresh of physical space could be better.

The hotel itself is fine. Rooms and public spaces were clean. Staff was polite and available. Breakfast was lacking in options and flavor. Ice machines only worked on some floors and the ice was dirty (do not use in drinks, only to keep things cool). The surrounding area is rough, including abandoned buildings across the street, but the inside of the hotel is very well kept. It was an ok place to stay for two nights in Albany for a sports tournament on short notice.

The location was convenient. The hotel is definitely older. I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Spacious and clean rooms.

I liked that it was right on 787 highway. The shower head was high quality. The staff was friendly. The room was an uncomfortable temperature for us and we weren't able to adjust it. But having a fridge and microwave at our disposal was wonderful. I needed a hair dryer but didn't see one. We would stay again!

The room was clean and the breakfast was above average for the class of hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit tight in the lot and the area around the hotel is a bit desolate at night. I felt perfectly safe but was not traveling by myself. Shower in the room was great.

Super clean hotel nice breakfast with lots of choices right off the highway easily drivable to things to do Saratoga was a 30 minute drive

Room was great and spacious .Front desk clerk was an absolutely doll and so helpful explaining bus routes and things .If it wasn't for her we'd be doing alot of walking up hill .The only thing was breakfast was so many options but no meat like sausage or bacon or anything .Being the rest of the stay was enjoyable I would still rate it a A+.Thank you .

A good overnight stop.

stayed for three days was great, room was clean, plenty of outlets for all devices, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly easy check in, plenty to eat for breakfast which was included, if needing to go downtown was easy to walk to as well, great hotel stay at a great price would stay there again
