Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Albany Downtown

Great stay, great staff and awesome location. We visited the Vault next door and had an amazing dinner. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is so convenient located downtown right off the highway. The manager and staff were particularly helpful !

The room was ok, pretty basic, but the A/C did not work - it was 78° in the room, and the bathroom sink drain was stopped up with hair that had never been cleaned. The staff was friendly enough and the breakfast was about what you would expect.

They have no parking so you have to hope theres an open meter, then walk from there. No valet. The key didnt work, multiple times. If youre not a fan of tight spaces, dont take their tiny elevator, but theres stairs. Rooms are small, and dont expect any view from the dirty windows. If you go to a show, dont expect to do food delivery after. No one delivers there.

great location, no complaints

The staff was amazing. Everyone was so kind and helpful. This was our first trip to Albany and they gave great restaurant recommendation. I wish we had more time to check out all they had to offer. My son had to be at his tournament early, so we had to leave before breakfast started and they offered him fresh fruit and cereal for the road! I thought that was so kind!

check in was after 3pm we arrived at 345pm then were told the room was not ready and would be 10 minutes but was another hour and 10 minutes before we got the room card then the room card wouldnt work to open the door go back down to the desk to get another card back to the room finally get in and the room smelled like cigarette smoke we dont smoke so that was awful for us the tv was crooked on the wall and the view from the window was a rooftop with a dead animal and a blank wall . And getting back to check in while we were waiting for the room to be ready 40 other people checked in and got their room right away. No real good place to park at the hotel they dont offer parking except on the street was able to park in a garage 2 blocks away and was only 12.00$ . we checked out by 930am 1st trip to albany and probably will be our last .

There is a 15 minute pick up/ drop off space in front of hotel -convenient Parking in Green St ramp about a block away. Reasonable rates. ( mid July). Breakfast available.

Fast, hassle free check-in/check-out, friendly front desk, and most importantly, comfortable, quiet, clean rooms.

Phone didnt have a cord and only one wash cloth in room and we had to use the hand towel as a wash cloth. Front desk didnt have any either. Breakfast was really good! Room was clean and the bed was firm, just the way I like!

Lots of space, very clean. Large bathroom Blackout curtains would have been nice.
