Stale smell in hallways with ancient rugs in place. Room was refreshed rather recently so that was clean and fine. Today was a lacrosse tournament day so noise levels were rather high.

Stayed here last minute. Not worth the ratings! Room was renovated but toilet ran all night and ceiling was all bubbling. I wouldn’t stay here again for the price point.

First floor rooms are very noisy....

Albany Marriot is my new home whenever I travel to Albany. The rooms well kept. The bed and shower is AMAZING. The staff is phenomenal and very friendly. The hotel is just really nice and extremely well maintained. The location is also perfect for dinning and shopping. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is just looking for peace and relaxation.

This hotel is simply tired. It looks like it had a face-lift a few years ago so at first glance, it seems fine. Take a closer look, and it is not worth the charge per night. Our door had to be pulled towards the hallway so it would open, caulk was hanging off the walls in the shower and the finishes were sloppy. The A/C was very loud when starting and stopping which made sleep difficult. The positives are the beds are comfortable and the guy at Starbucks was very nice. Three stars for a Marriot when you can get the same at a Home 2 Suites for less. Disappointment in Marriot to say the least.

Very clean and staff was very helpful and friendly .

Additionally, the bedside lamp was missing a light bulb, the television was constantly freezing and would not allow channel changes.

16dollar internet access for a day. when cheap motels offer free access. The room and hallway was extremely stuffy, felt like there was filled with DEAD AIR. couldn't open windows. was hard to breathe. couldn't sleep well. The panel that supposed to show fire escape route, by the elevators on third floor were ALL ripped off, and one of the fire exit was blocked with huge garbage? pale used by maintenance personnel the entire night. THOSE two has to be against fire code. overall, for MARIOTT experience, very dissatisfied.

I don’t think it should have as many stars as it shows. It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great either. Check-in staff was very nice. The exterior property was clean. The room was okay, nothing special. The bathroom was not great. The toilet kept running and we had to adjust the chain. Lots of restaurants nearby. And super easy to get to the airport, which is what we needed. So all in all it was okay

Awesome staff, clean room, I added breakfast to my reservation and it turned out to be a great choice! Will definitely continue to stay here. Also, Ruth’s Chris Steak house is right next to the hotel and it’s the best restaurant in the area.

Spacious, quiet, well-appointed room with a walk-in shower and quality towels. Nice bar, great fitness room, and plenty of parking. We will be staying here every time we’re in the area!
