Super 8 by Wyndham Albany

It’s a very nice area but they don’t patrol the property, lots of garbage between buildings.. tv and bed were good moved my car so I could watch it. Breakfast virtually non existent and they tell you this in a separate email later

The toilet and sink were wobbly. It was hard to turn the sink water off. I was given no information about Internet service. The listing promised breakfast but, at 7 am there was no evidence of breakfast and no coffee anywhere. The location was extremely noisy. I will never stay at a Super 8 again. It was a waste of money.

Average place. Says they have breakfast, but cereal doesn't count.

First off the ac wasn’t working and the faucet on the sink was off. Got moved to another room. The faucet was broke in that room also, no tub plug and shower wouldn’t work . It is stated that they have breakfast and I specifically asked the lady at the desk as to what time it was . Went down in the morning and there was no breakfast at all! We couldn’t get out of that place fast enough! The worst hotel we have ever stayed in , and price wasn’t cheap !

The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made us stay there all the more enjoyable

Always happy to stay here when in the area. Clean and comfortable. Very helpful team working there.

Bed was comfortable but bedding had burnt holes in them. I’d stay there again but would probably try a different Super Eight.

Pretty descent for a cheap hotel

The room was "old". The traffic was loud. The breakfast included was cereal and coffee... I don't recommend

Hotel is under renovation. Discarded hotel items were stored outside my window. TV was not plugged in. "Breakfast" consisted of corn flakes or frootloops and stale lukewarm coffee. Pillows were flat and hard. NOT a good experience. They should wait to host guests until they are up and running. There was no information about this when booking.

Superb

The location was good,right across from the mall. However the hotel is between the on ramps to the 87so you just have to really pay attention when turning into the parking lot.The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean but really in need of cosmetic updates - painting and update the bathroom. Also there is no breakfast included as it states on the website. Coffee and tea were available though

Room and bathroom were clean but breakfast included is a joke, just 2 kind of cereals and milk, coffee was terrible. The hotel is near shops, highway, great location.

This was fine for a quick night stay after being on the Thruway for several hours. Small room, but adequate for just sleeping & showering. No real amenities available, but you’re very close to shops and other things in the area.

Do not live there, this is the advice given by the gentleman sitting outside the hotel, he kept reminding every guest about this. After my night staying here, I can’t agree more

We expected a bare bones room for the price however we did not expect holes in the wall where fixtures had been torn out, sagging water stained ceiling tiles or filthy floors. In their defense they appear to be making renovations but they should not use the rooms that are still in such poor condition.

Cons: dirty, room looked like it was someone’s office, everything is old except the carpet, breakfast was a joke coffee and that is it! Won’t stay here again!!!

After paying at the desk we get some stuff to go to the bed room. Once inside we take high cigarette odour. At this time I start having an allergic reaction. We left the room and on our way back to the reception we found a girl smoking weed on the balcony. Arrived at the reception we ask for reimbursement. The women at the reception tell us she cannot proceed and ask us to come back at 8:00 PM to see her manager. We call at 8 to say we cannot come at this time and will be present tomorrow morning. Tomorrow before leaving Albany we pass by the place and another women tell us to come at 8:00 PM again to see her manager. In final we never had our reimbursement.

Rude manager. Disrespectful and immature.
