Room was not clean and air conditioning was broke

Disappointing

The run down hotel had a pile of construction/renovation debris right outside our first room’s window. The electrical outlets were loose in the walls to say the best, but the cherry on the cake was the used hypodermic needle left on the floor beneath the ratty A/C unit. After moved to a new room, the main door had huge gaps around the frame where the door was previously kicked in or broken down. Cobwebs everywhere, rusty microwave, filthy mini fridge, and old mismatched high wattage incandescent bulbs that felt like they were about to set the lampshades on fire. Couldn’t even shut the bathroom door due to it being out of shape. “Expedia”, “Super 8”, and “Wyndham” should be ashamed of having their name associated with that dump. The only thing positive I can say is that the parking space was adequately sized for the vehicle.

Peaceful I checked out early and would not refund me the monies for the days that I didn’t stay. The hostess and manager were very rude when I asked for the refund

When we went to the front desk to ask for a solution, we were told that the only Queen room available was the one we had been given. The only alternative was to move to a King room, but we were expected to pay an extra USD 100 for the upgrade—even though the room we booked was clearly not fit to stay in. This was completely unacceptable. A non-smoking room should actually be smoke-free. Instead of solving the problem, the hotel tried to charge us more, leaving us with no choice but to leave and find another place to stay. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel.

The property is in need of some loving care.

First step going to the second floor is broken A/C was a fan because it didn’t work and curtains did not close all the way. Breakfast said it started at 7. I went down at 7:20 and the door was locked and he hadn’t even started getting it ready. The room itself was OK.

Just ask for inside rooms because the room they tried to give me outside around back was mortifying.. i asked for an inside room and paid extra wirh no issues

The clerk made a mistake and wrote room 44 on my key. When I kept trying to get in, someone answered the door and asked what I was doing. I apologized and went back to the office. He was surprised someone else was already in that room. He gave me 58 and it was clean but smelled like smoke. Overall not a bad place for the price but they advertised breakfast and all they had was bad coffee, cereal that sits out all day (I saw it there at 11pm when I checked in) and a half gallon of milk. I usually always utilize the breakfast but I gladly passed on this one.

This was a convenient and affordable place to stay for a night off the highway.

A small but very nice, efficient room. The young lady at the front desk was helpful with checking in. Motel doesn’t look great from the outside but all was good.

So this is a classic Albany Hotel that used to be called Cocos it has all kinds of fun rooms that very different sizes and different you know amenities some of them have hot tubs some of my bar it was going downhill but as soon as it's Super 8 people took over they have really made a difference in this property and I am glad they did because it's a really cute hotel and it puts you in prime location. The people that run the front desk and clean and own the place are super super kind and professional and yes the rate make a little higher than some of the other hotels a little further down Central Ave but this keeps refresh from that area out and I'm glad they're doing it because the hotel's pretty cute and there's still smoking rooms which most people don't care about however when you smoke and you have the opportunity to have smoking room you know you want it they have put a lot of work into cleaning up the landscape and the parking lot and you know the breakfast isn't spectacular but they're so kind and you know it's like kind of need in the morning and you're always allowed to go down there and use their toaster in the microwave or sit there and you know eat your own food did you bring so you don't have to eat in the room but just as any Super 8 make sure you pay by 11:00 there's a small deposit I recommend that you bring cash for it so you get it immediately back and don't have to wait and tell everyone I said hi and thank you! Yes, that's the kind of feel it has!

Horrible mal entretenu moisissure

The tub faucet handle was broke off. Only one of four bath light bulbs worked, the hot tub faucet handles didn’t work. There was no house keeping over the weekend.

While the location was nice and easy to find, our room had no working A/C in the midst of summer, the remote for the TV did not work and there was some noticeable water damage on the ceiling. And the non-smoking room smelled of weed

I had to see 4 room total to get one that was decent. Nothing was updated the tub was dirty it had a problem with the drain. I will never go to a supper 8 again.

Nothing wrong with is, just our room had a very odd odor. Would go back.
