Dunas Hostel & Guesthouse

The location, very close to the bch, beautifull pool, beauty saloon right there, parking. The shower door didnt close completly and we aways had a wet floor.

Came back here for a 2nd time. This hostel is not too busy and meets all requirements. They have a good lounge area, well stocked kitchen, and provides towels. The cleaning staff also cleaned the room and bathroom every day. Wifi was relatively good during the stay, with just some dead areas or lost connections. There's also lots of free parking for those driving. The AC in the room was not functioning correctly. It only had 1 setting: cold. This meant that at night, it needed to be turned off and turned on again during the day.

Sometimes no coverage at front desk. Didn't know that other office was connected and part of same company. Mattress in room 5 lower bunk was hard.

Overall I had a great experience and I would definitely come back again at the first opportunity nothing

Excellent staff, so clean! Amazing guests, made friends and loved the atmosphere! Not really anything. Maybe a small oven might be nice, but was fine without.

Laid back property that was not too busy. Rooms were spartan but clean. AC worked well. The kitchen was also well equipped. Hostel provided towels and had access to pool. Wifi could be a bit better. The wifi did not work well inside the rooms. It worked fine in common areas. Staff could also clean the floors a bit better, such as sweeping and vacuuming, instead of just mopping. There was just a lot of hair on the floors all the time.

I loved everything about this property. I would forget about Lisbon and come here next time on my vacation next year. This place was amazing. I enjoyed every moment that I spent here. The restaurants and the pool are beautiful, and the people are amazing. The food is so good. Period. There was nothing I did not like about this property. This property is number one. I wish there were more hostels like this one. Clean affordable, beautiful and the people are so helpful. I went on the cave tour by speedboat and I loved it. I do recommend you use that one by Atlantis tours. Very inexpensive and very good.

Stayed her a few times now. Staff are all very friendly and helpful and will do what they can to help you. Great kitchen facilities and a good space to catch up with fellow travelers on how their trips are going. TV lounge is a clean quiet space to chill in with books to take out to the beach, which is only 10 walk away or to take to the pool outside, which is included in your hostel cost. For laundry there is a sel service place across the courtyard that cost 5 euro for 8kgs of clothes. And for food there is a supermarket 5 mins away. Or lots of bars, cafés and restaurants within a few minutes walk. 1.65 euro on 30 minutes bus to Portimao or a 15 minute taxis costs about 5 euro. From the train station in Portimao you can travel all along the Algarve coast for a relatively low cost.

It was a very nice quite place, I liked very much. Location, the shared bedroom was huge and clean. I didn’t get the wifi and there wasn’t people in the reception all the time

The place was very clean, spacious with all amenities Nothing would definitely stay here again, good location and a short walk to the beach. Large rooms, and excellent bathrooms. Kitchen was fantastic with all amenities.
