A hotels's service is judged by whether they respond to requests you make of them - on this point this hotel's staff were amazing. They answered all the queries and helped me where I needed it with a smile and a helpful attitude. Great Location. Clean sheets & towels. Some of the facilities in the room are very old. Leaking bathtubs, old carpets and non-functioning phones.

The location was central and close to Amsterdam . Our specific room was right above and next to a bar lounge. We heared loud music in the evenings until early morning hours , with lots off noise. The hotel has spotlights shinning onto the building , and cannot understand why ons should be shinning directly onto our window. The blockout curtain was not sufficient to blick out the light and was sturbing during the night

Well located with a short walk to the man city area. Staff were very helpful throughout. Room had all the right features without being over the top. Wifi tended to hang on videos sometimes. Some inconsistencies with what was cleaned/replaced each day in room cleaning but not a deal breaker

Nothing, it was a mistake There was a cockroach in the bathroom, and the hotel in general is very dirty. If you don’t care about hygiene or about having nightmares about cockroaches crawling on you, then this hotel is good for you. There is also no luggage service, so we had to carry our bags ourselves. They called us twice about checking out, and both times we answered. However, when we were checking out, the lady at reception told us that we had to pay a fee because we had stayed past 12:00 PM and supposedly didn’t answer their calls. She said we had to pay €16 per room, even though we were never informed about this rule when we checked in. She claimed that she had called both rooms and that nobody answered, which is simply not true, we answered both times. Even when I told her that we had found a cockroach in the bathroom, she didn’t seem to care at all. It honestly made me feel like they are used to having cockroaches there. When I told her that we had answered the phone and that we would not pay the fee, she went to discuss it with her colleagues. In the end, we did not pay the fee.
