This place is a gem, lots of character, very central. The hosts were lovely, breakfast amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while we were in Amsterdam.

Nice bright presentation and bathroom. Comfortable 2 king singles pushed together to form a king double Large windows to look out to the quieter canal. Continental breakfast was plentiful and refilled if needed, including expresso coffees We only used their aircon in room 4 on the last full day we were there as it got hot (30⁰ C). It was a portable type aircon/cooler and it made a huge racket. I think the casing was vibrating and woke me up. Staff probably could have fixed it had we reported it but we were leaving early the next morning so no chance to do so. Very steep stairs but they helped carry our luggage to level 2 as there's no lift (just like most old style Amsterdam accommodation).

Location was ideal. Breakfast was very good for a continental breakfast. Stairs were a bit steep but that’s what you should expect in a historic building in this area.

It was simply the loveliest, quaint hotel, in a beautiful location with warm and welcoming staff. Absolutely nothing. Our stay could not have been better!

The location was incredible and our room has all of the amenities. Mostly, Jasmine who checked us in and worked in the cafe was extremely helpful and kind. She is the perfect person to welcome guests. Nothing.

Ideally located in a quieter neighborhood alongside a picturesque canal. We were able to walk from the train station and to all points of interest (sites and restaurants) during our stay. Our room was beautiful, well-appointed, and unexpectedly spacious. It provided the perfect, calm refuge in a bustling city. The best part: we had floor to ceiling windows overlooking the canal. Breakfast in the charming café was delicious and a great way to start each day. The staff is kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Super friendly staff, amazing location and beautiful family room. Family room is on the highest floor, be prepared to climbed steep stairs with the kids. Didn’t mind it too much though, but one should be aware if you’re not used to of it.

Very conveniently located. We did a lot of walking. The tram stop was nearby as well as several attractions. We also liked the breakfast offerings. The only negative is that the room was up a very steep stair case and had additional steps inside the room. I would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues.

Jasmine and her husband were an absolute delight, so kind and helpful! We got a lot of great recommendations from them and the location and rooms was wonderful! The service was 10/10 and will be back if in Amsterdam!

Eurostar cancelled our trip with less than 12 hours notice. This was completely out of our control. Although we did book a non refundable room the hotel flat refused to change our booking even though we offered to pay a penalty and booking.com confirmed hotels can move bookings as a gesture of goodwill regardless of the booking terms. There was no goodwill in this instance and we lost 645 euro. Avoid this hotel which clearly has no regard for consumer satisfaction or long term business relations.
