Hotel Jakarta offers 200 luxurious rooms with a Indonesian influenced style. The boutique style hotel offers rooms of 30 m2 with an Indonesian twist. Most of the superior rooms feature a balcony, with panoramic views over the river IJ on one side and looking over the central station on the Waterfront side. Open and airy and lots of outdoor seating. Roof top bar was a pleasant surprise It was suggested we reuse our bath towels but there was only one small towel bar to hang them on to dry and without direct air conditioning the towels wouldn’t dry draped over the bathtub or a chair The shower was two sides of glass allowing for no privacy. With indirect AC, the room really needed a fan

Nice hotel, good area, very zen and tastfeully decorated. Staff we're friendly. Parking comes with a 40eur fee. Room service only via website / app and comes with a 7.5eur service charge. No minibar present in rooms.

Large rooms, friendly staff, great decoration. I loved the fact that the hotel is somehow away from the busy city center, which makes car access fairly easy. The view is stunning. The balcony is a great way to enjoy a soothing view of busy Dam. The breakfast room gets quickly crowded and some breakfast items went missing (e.g. scrambled eggs). No big deal, there's plenty of delicious things. My A/C wasn't working fantastic and I had to open the window. People have to know the location is somehow convenient, maybe not so much if you don't like walking - not a lot of public transportation and Uber/taxi are crazy expensive in Dam.

The room was large and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were courteous and friendly. The room temperature was a little warm and I weren't able to control the thermostat to drop the temperature. That made sleeping uncomfortable. The patio door was jammed closed and we were unable to enjoy the patio.

The location is great and the property is beautiful. The food being mainly Indonesian is also delicious. Nothing.

The views The room was too hot ! The thermostat was set for 24-24.5 .In addition, the mattress was very thin and it kept sliding off the frame/base of the bed!

The room was modern and spacious, breakfast was amazing, the location was good. The mattress was very soft and not comfortable for me

Bkfst amazing. Lots of variety. The coffee was fair. Location for Amsterdam was incredible. away from the hustle and chaos and public transportation a short walk. Dewi and Naomi at front desk were incredible. I think the hotel is overpriced. Disappointed we had no fridge to even keep our drinks cold.

it’s a bit overpriced for what it offers. It’s not that luxurious for the price tag and the location is a bit of challenge since everything in Amsterdam is a 40+ minute walk and the public transport is limited to a single bus that gets you to the central train station. Additionally the menu (excluding breakfast) is very limited to Indonesian cuisine so it made it a no go for us to dine there as well.
