Authentic Japanese traditional ryokan with great food offerings. The onsen bath facility is not the most spacious you would find in Japan, but it is very clean, well maintained and relaxing.

Traditional tatami room overlooking a beautiful garden. My family were served a delicious array of food,seasonal and fragrant, while seated at the low Japanese table in the room. The staff graciously accommodated our lack of Japanese language skills.The baths were just down the corridor and were clean and lovely and the other guests were welcoming. The hotel was within walking distance of the train shinkasnen, the harbour and the gondola ride up to the castle We were ignorant of how steep the walk down to the hotel was. A taxi ride definitely recommended for the way up back to the train station.

Keep in mind the downhill walk from the JR station; return by other means is advisable. Enjoy the unique atmosphere and cultural immersion!

The staff where very helpful in any little thing you needed like helping with sending things To narita airport and also very friendly and helpful. The bath I could be there all day if I could Nothing, I knew they were doing some renovations and that could not be avoided, they still did their best to provide great service.
