the property is super cute! will attach pic. the breakfast is good but only includes fruit and bread. you have to pay for anything else but it was very reasonably priced! our AC made a loud sound every couple of minutes at night. we could not fall asleep because of it and that’s why we gave an 8. otherwise would have been a 10

The grounds and the pool were nice, the staff was great The management was arrogant,we saw the poor reviews and took a gamble because it was discounted 50%, we would have rather stayed elsewhere and felt relief when we were leaving knowing it was over, the things the management said to us regarding a noisy air conditioner and how we were treated afterwards was unacceptable, they were not accommodating at all and the blame was placed on us. In the end we had three sleepless nights and we were happy to leave. The hotel was empty and the beach club was empty in high season, I feel bad for the staff, suffering for the arrogance of poor leadership

The property was pretty and nicely kept. Because we booked through Booking.com we got the worst unit in the place, the pictures did not match what we got. And the place was virtually empty, no reason to give us this room. We talked to the Manager and he moved us to the room we were expecting. The property was listed as Luxury… the toilet seat fell off the toilet, both doors wouldn’t lock, one lock completely fell apart and the WiFi was very weak. This property is not on Bacalar lake, you have to walk across the street and down the hill to the Beach club which was very difficult to find. The Manager was very helpful in giving us a better room and booking our sailboat tour of the lake.

The cabanas are hotel grounds were very well kept. We were there in low season, november. Got the rooms at 105 usd/night, full price were 275 usd/night. During our 5 days stay, we complained 3 times to get hot water. Never got any, we had cold showers for the whole stay. Staff was not helpful at all to ease the inconvenient. Despite the photos, access to the lagoon is about 200 meters from the actual hotel grounds. Staff did not speak a word of English. They asked us if we wanted to to get the room cleaned on our last day, never got new towels. The beds in the full room were cheaply made and the mattress warped under our weight. Tried to switch rooms for the queen size bed, we got told that is was not available and they tried to upgrade us in the family room at full high season price, the queen size room was available throughout our whole stay… They played loud music in the lobby from 8:30 until 22:30, we could clearly hear it from the room. There were no fridge in the rooms or readily available for customers, so if you want a cold drink, you need to go to the corner store. We only had 2 coffees and even with all complaints they charged us 90 pesos at checkout.

Chose this hotel due to location was nearby the tour which we were booked. It was just a few minutes away by walk. The receptionist woman was unkind, 3/4 times not in the reception place so we had to wait. Lagoon area was disgusting, just a mess without normal access to the water.

The room and bathroom were very clean and beautiful, and the breakfast was prepared by the owner of the hotel and the food was delicious. We recommend the hotel 100%, in fact all the staff are people who make you feel the best. No complaints, everything was excellent.

Very good

The photos are deceiving. It's very expensive for the quality of luxury depicted in the photos. Thus propery is not NOT on the lake. They have a separate entrance within a 5 min walk to get to the lake. Our room was strange. The bathroom is like a giant stall, so you can hear everything. Night one, a bunch of ants ended up in my dad's bed and was bit up. We found the culprit in the morning, there was a dead lizard in the room. I understand these things are uncontrollable, but I think there are better places that you would be able to get value for your money.

Friendly staff The room was very poorly designed. The heat and privacy was terrible, the morning sun with white blinds was almost unbearable

The rooms and beds were too small. It was very misleading because we thought it was in front of the lagoon. It was very expensive. Value for money was poor.

Very warm welcome. Very nice and large room (cabana). Good AC and WIFI. Good breakfast which was not included in our arrangement. Extremly good, friendly and helpful employees. A had a flat cartire and was very grateful for their assitance and help. Nice pool. Very nice and well-kept garden/suroundings The Queen size bed was to small for us two. The mattress is much worn out (sagging in the middleI and has to be replaced. We slept very bad and hat back pain every morning.

the location is good. Walking distance to boat tours. it’s a very short drive to town and the old fort. The staff is friendly and the cook is amazing. We wanted a view of Laguna Bacalar but our room was on the first floor and didn’t have a view.
