Very clean.A short walk to lagoon.Breafast good. Charming and helpful host.

Hotel looked clean. The four people room is definitely not for four people. The couch-bed is very uncomfortable and is too small for even one person. The main bed is large but also uncomfortable. The owner was overall very dismissive and rude in general, he told us that it was obvious (?) that the room was for families with small children and not for friends and he can't write everything in booking so it was on us that we booked the room. So here's me writing it in booking, don't stay in that room and avoid the hotel if possible. The pool is also much smaller (it's more like a large tub) then it's shown in the photos. After the first night we had to move to another hotel since the owner was not really helpful. He showed us couple other rooms (no discount) but said we would find something to complain about them. I wish him good luck in the future. Oh, all of the locks, including bathroom locks are in danger of not working any second, so use with care.

Practically nothing We received a room wiht mold and there was a horrible smell of disinfection. We asked the receptionist for another room because of this and he told us they don´t have any room available and he was not trying to solve the problem at all. The room did not have any window, just the door for outside, so it was not possible to get out the horrible smell of disinfection. Fortunately we spent there just 1 night. I don´t definitely recommend this hotel. The bed was not comfortable at all, horrible mattress and the bed for 2 persons is too small (140 cm only I think). Also there is no fridge (ok, this was in the description), also no wardrobe were to put our things so definitely not suitable for longer stays. Also there was no hot water in the bath room. There was a breakfast for free but after seeing the horrible reviews on breakfast + no flexibility in hours (the breakfast was available only from 9:00, which is really too late...) we decided to not take the breakfast. Also I could see on the photos that there is sign "free breakfast - minimum suggested tip 20 MXN" - if the breakfast is for free included in the price why the guest shall give any tip????!!!! On top of that for what is being offered - ridiculous extremely poor breakfast which does not deserve any tip... (that´s why we decided to go for breakfast to not be even more upset... The reviews on the breakfast we saw in Googlle were horrible as well.) If you have chosen this hotel anyway, don´t forget to agree on the time of arrival, on description of the hotel there is written that the reception is open 24/7 but many times nobody was there. The photos on booking looks nice but the reality was different.

Very nice and small family hotel. Personal was super nice. Can use a pool... offer many activities like paddleboard, boat trips Just double size bed. Missing at least small bar fridge in the room.

The room was really nice. Spotlessly clean. Cleaned daily. Good Aircon and TV choices if that's what you want. Staff helpful. You can book trips with them and taxis. Free breakfast was decent. It's very close to the Geopark for fab swimming. About 15 minute walk to the centre. Shower took a while to warm up but to be fair, it was very good.

Staff were all very nice and helpful. They had some tours you could do with the hotel which was very handy we went on one of the boat tours and it was very good! The room was compact the shower right at the end of the bed and the toilet was shared outside of the room but overall it was good.

Location The incessant rules when we got there, the mandatory breakfast tipping, the pool was full of fly's everyday and did not appear to be cleaned as was still full the next morning, you are not allowed to bring any food or drink back to your own room. Those coat hangers and the three tiny shelves are your storage, the shower wall is not adequate for stopping the water escaping onto the bathroom floor creating a trip hazard. The toiletries offered were not used apart from the hand soap so unable to comment don't get me wrong the staff were pleasant but this hotel needs to do better in many areas.

Location was great, staffs were helpful and friendly! The place was well maintained and clean! Nice relaxing areas around the pool and in the hamacs! Be aware if you book room 1-7 downstairs it is basically straight at the entrance with access from the street. It’s very noisy with cars, people talking on the street and dogs barking!

This is a small hotel in a quiet location not very far from "the action" & restaurants. It's very clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable with large bathrooms (I'm not a fan of the pebbled shower floor though) They serve a very good breakfast by the pool that's a good start to.the day. If you're looking for a clean basic hotel that doesn't have bells & whistles so they can increase their prices, this is your stop. We had a bit of a misunderstanding with the fellow who checked us in. This was frustrating but it all got ironed out in the end. He was very friendly through it all. Nobody lost their minds

Only breakfast Staff, super bad attitude, arrogant, not friendly at all, only the ladys , no parking, and the worst, you have to share the bathroom, is outside, the pictures at the web are diferent, I'm not picky ,but I'm not coming back here

It's really nice and a quick walk to downtown Bacalar. Nice pool area and breakfast was cool to have before starting your day

I liked the location, the size of the room ?️, the breakfast ?. The use of bicycles is not included.

Friendly staff, owners dog, breakfast. Close to the public beach. The hard bed, area around is pretty bad but this is not the owners fault. Sound isolation in rooms is very low.

Very nice chilling space in the pool area. They have free breakfast (only few options but good). The toilet doesn’t have a door The room door doesn’t have mosquito screen and the place has many mosquitos, so you have to sleep with everything closed. Only 2 towels, I asked for more but they said no.

Staff were very friendly & accomodating, it felt very safe and welcoming environment. Room was very clean, and overall the hotel had great facilities in a small town like Bacalar.
