Location and staff are great. Stayed here 2 years ago and upon returning this time it does appear it needs more up keeping. The bathroom looks dated with evident water leak marks left on the bed headboard from the AC unit above. The toilet tank also takes long to refill which is not ideal. Also currently no breakfast is offered and no restaurant service. If you’re expecting a place to have drinks while lounging at the pool look elsewhere. Location is good close the lagoon and has good views. The staff are great and doing as much to resolve issues. The vibe of the place does not feel lively and just felt deserted. The price doesn’t reflect what the experience was 2 years ago.

Very lovely hotel. We enjoyed relaxing by the small pool and looking out over the lagoon. We watched the Sunrise both mornings by walking a short distance to the wooden walkways that go over the mangrove.

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with thoughtful details. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with recommendations or arranging activities. Nothing

The hotel is really nice and both decor, facilities and staff is good. Location is very neat and close to the lake. We were unpleasantly surprised on Sunday afternoon by the "pool party" hosted just outside our window. We had the room with private pool, roof top terrace and lake view. The party featured a DJ playing techno-like music at very high volumes for the four people at the shared pool that day. It gave off the hostel vibes that we had hoped to avoid at a high cost, adults-only hotel. It was incredibly loud (even after it was turned down a little) and lasted from 3 pm to 7 pm which meant that we have to leave the hotel to have a conversation as we simply couldn't hear each other neither inside the room or outside on our terrace. The music wasn't advertised anywhere and we were subsequently told that it is every Sunday and Wednesday. Had we known, we would have booked a calmer, non-party hotel.

The hotel is beautiful ! Is located in at a few meters from the lagoon , and the view is amazing! Great location . Not very lively

Very basic breakfast but good We didn’t like the “vib”: we wanted a peaceful and relaxing hotel but the music was too loud ( restaurant and pool) and too much like the music you get in big resorts… The city is pretty much closed on Wednesdays because no navigation is allowed on the lake… so it was a bit disappointing

Spacious and comfortable rooms. Loved the common spaces on upper level. Loved the private rooftop patio in the King rooms. Clean, fresh, well appointed and tasteful. Loved everything

The staff were very welcoming, helpful, and professional. There wasn't two bedside cabinets/tables.

The layout of the king room with balcony was a little odd. The balcony up stairs with sea view when standing but not sitting. Bedside lamps had to be turned off at door

Very cute boutique hotel There was no cook available for late lunch when we arrived, but it was the slow season and they suggested a restaurant a block away that was fantastic. So problem solved.

A very pleasant boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff, good size rooms, a nice swimming pool area and in a great location close to the lagoon and a short walk from the Zocalo The hotel provides bicycles, although they are not maintained so they're kind of pointless which is a little annoying as they are the ideal way to get around the locality. Also we felt that the chef could do with a bit more training.

Great location, food was amazing! And staff very friendly. Will recommend this place 200%! Only mirror in the bathroom not full body view…
