Ideal with kayaks, pier, so beautiful. Everyday new refreshments, new towels, … Complicated with this booking. Because it was beautiful but there were a few big defaults. We had a room without the lights working. Said something about it the first evening, response was that he was going to do something about it the next day but he never did (he came over, tried a bit). We Said something about it at collegae next day, he was friendly and came to have a look. But we knew this was a bigger problem in that room with electricity, they could not fix and they must have known before we were there. You just get the room by daylight, so you don’t know… They just ignored us after that. We also asked for an extra matras the first evening because there were 3 beds for 5 people, the same guy from the first night said he would look around, did not hear from him after that. We saw him, just ignored us. The people in the restaurant were not friendly at all. It made us go to other places to eat.

Beautiful lakefront right on Bacalar. Included breakfast was nice, decent range of food. Price/value very good. We upgraded to 2 lakefront suites, but found there was no privacy there. Didn’t bother us, we’d rent again.

Location, staff, food, kayaks and paddle available all the time. Not very crowded. View from the room I think they probably have issues with water availability but nothing really major

It was small a quite Nothings

The place in front of the lagoon with private access, the breakfast, the parking, the kayak We had trouble with our shower from the beginning because of the rain, so sorry water backed up so we couldn’t use the shower and it smelled really bad! Hopefully Pablo was so nice and reactive!! He offered us a nice support and solution.

Beautiful design, great facilities, lovely helpful and friendly staff, SUP and kayaks to use, nice details of having the fridge stuffed with free beer and water. The water in the shower was not really hot,

Beautiful location Sometimes the bathroom smelled possibly due to drainage

A hidden gem! The upper bungalow was so clean and just prefect! We spent the afternoon sitting on our deck enjoying the view of the lagoon and grounds! Staff were so attentive.

The property was beautiful There’s very little privacy

The food here is excellent for dinner. Really fresh and tasty. Expect it to be a bit pricey but worth it. The complimentary breakfast starts at 8:30 but we had a tour so had to leave at 7:30 AM so we missed it. No accommodations for us to take a “packed breakfast” even though we offered to pay extra. The property is beautiful and the lagoon is shallow and wonderful for swimming. Apparently there is no paddle boarding , kayaking or boat use on the lagoon on Wednesdays, which is not listed anywhere on the website. Even though I specifically emailed to ask about using their paddle boards and kayaks , no mention was made about not using them on Wednesdays which was the only day we were there. If we had known , we could easily have come on Thursday. The bungalow we stayed in was beautiful and right in front of the lagoon, which made the cost almost worth it. The downside was the air conditioner wasn’t working( a BiG deal in the tropics) and the bedside reading lamps weren’t working. For the price we think at least the air conditioner would work and they could have packed a breakfast on the go for us, since the staff we in the restaurant at 7 AM and had made fresh baked pound cake the night before. If the things I mentioned had been corrected I would have rated this place at 10/10 or the highest level.
