Great place. Great value.

It was a nice room. Clean. Air worked good. Bed was comfortable though there was a stain on the comforter. Didn’t spend a lot of time in the room. Shower was nice.
-
They were very helpful especially when the ice machine was broken and I needed to keep my breastmilk cool they got me ice from the kitchen

The staff was very helpful and friendly Needs room service

Desk workers were all helpful. My room appeared to be missing a table or a chair or something but they’re closing for renovation I think. Overall good stay.

Exceptional

Check in was chaotic and had very long lines at the front desk. They released all rooms after cleaning at one time rather than as they became available. This caused the back up and lines at check in.

I had came out for a concert, it was nice that it was a 6 minute walk from the cfg arena . I just wish it had free parking because it was stressful finding parking but overall it was a nice stay room was clean and a lot space

Were unable to check in when they stated. Has to wait 2 more hours.

The staff Booking.com could have been notified of the scheduled renovations shutdown so I wouldn't have to scramble to find another hotel

I recently stayed at the Sonesta Baltimore primarily because of its location. It was only a 5–6 minute walk from the convention center, which made it incredibly convenient and was the biggest reason I chose this hotel. The staff were by far the highlight of my stay. Every employee I encountered was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They responded quickly to requests and provided excellent customer service from check-in through checkout. They deserve five stars. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was a completely different experience. The property feels very dated, with dark hallways, dark carpeting, and an overall atmosphere that felt gloomy and somewhat unsettling. There was a strong odor throughout the hotel that smelled like fresh bug spray, and it lingered long enough that I couldn’t ignore it. While the hotel looked clean at first glance, it never actually felt clean. The building also felt damp and muggy during my stay. To make matters worse, there was a tornado warning while I was there, and the lights flickered throughout the building, which only added to the uncomfortable atmosphere. While that’s obviously outside the hotel’s control, it certainly didn’t help the overall experience. The amenities were another disappointment. There was no ironing board in my room, the iron I received didn’t work properly, the refrigerator had an unpleasant odor, and I had to go to another floor just to get ice. I also experienced issues with the door

walkable, clean, convenient. the city is loud, but that’s to be expected. walked to and from m&t with no issues!

other than being under construction everything was good

The property was clean on arrival. They were under renovations so take it with a grain of salt. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved that we could valet since there was no parking. Upon arriving in the room, we discovered that the dead bolt on our room door was broken. The TV also wasn’t fully functional as the left side of the tv had images burnt into the screen causing the images to blur together. Shower head was a 3/10 for our liking. There was no door stopper on the wall causing the bathroom door to hit the glass shower door. Hopefully no one figures that out the hard way.

Disappointing
-
The hotel was very clean and staff were friendly throughout the duration of our stay.

I like that each place we needed to go was a walkable distance. Stayed in 503, toilet is loose and elevators were under construction or something. Took a long time for them to arrive using the elevator but was told to use. Single elevator was faster and reliable
