Motel 6 Belmont, CA - San Francisco - Redwood City

At 10:30, while I was trying to sleep the hotel phone in the room rang. Being sleepy and not thinking straight I picked it up. It was a courtesy call from the hotel (the desk said later it was the check in kiosk people) asking if everything was alright in the room. I told him disturbing guests, let alone at that time of the night should not be done. Really weird system. I will stay at Motel 6 again but I will be aware of the kiosk person and unplug the hotel phone.

There is no body wash, shampoo or hairdryer provided in the bathroom, plus the bath towels are heavily soiled.

This property is a mixed bag. Definitely needs improvement. Smokers allowed to smoke at door openings to hallways. Smoke even in hallwaysl. Police patrol daily, on the property. Outside in some areas look trashy. No security people that I can see. So in some areas people are allowed to do whatever they want to do. Loud music from cars yelling at each other.

It was okay for one night

Not clean specially bathroom it was awful.

The room is spacious and clean, but accommodation prices are steep around San Francisco, with comparable hotels costing more than in other areas. An early check-in incurs a $25 surcharge. The hotel building is large, and access is restricted by keycard, which is a plus for safety.

. Didn’t work. Went to office . Told me to use skywalk to access bldg A. Didn’t work . Walking in circles. Finally the man came and his key unlock Door . What a pain . Otherwise things are ok

Few days later and he said he had his laundry stolen. What the hell? This place is terrible.

Everything so old.

The room was not clean at all. There was a lot of noise in the parking area throughout the night, with people fighting for 2 nights, so I could not get enough sleep. The mattress and bed were terrible and very uncomfortable

The room was clean but the parking was a bit sketchy.

Bad customer service when trying to call for refund and difficulty communicating and contacting the property.

I had a pleasant stay

Worst booking of my life. Booked 2 rooms non smoking, first thing you smell when you walk into the rooms is smoke. Came back for the next night and the room was not clean. Will NEVER book with them again

The manager the next day said that they eventually had the sheriff kick them out but they were partying from about 9pm until well after 1am. We'll see if the manager processed a partial refund, as she said she did.

Location appeared to be more of a run down apartment complex that was hard to navigate. Took a little while to find the correct building and had to use a different building to access any floor above the first. Did not feel secure and kept belongings with me which was an inconvenience. There is not an actual person on site and ypu check in by video call. Definitely do not recommend this location as I feel it didn’t even meet Motel 6 standards.

I left property in the drawer, new clothes to replace the stolen items when my suitcase was stolen from my car. Yes, the Bay Area has theft. I never thought it would come from the motel housekeeping. The front desk was not helpful and hung up on me multiple times. They told me there isn’t a manager onsite and it takes 90 minutes for one to show up. They claimed they went to the room to verify the items were not there and house keeping didn’t turn things in. So where are my belongings? A police report will be filed
