Red Lion Inn & Suites Deschutes River Bend

Room was clean, comfortable and the property location was good.

Very dissatisfied that there was not a hot tub. The images online show a hot tub which was one of the deciding factors in booking the red lion.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool clean and good temperature.

Let me first say that the staff was incredibly friendly, checking in and out was a breeze. The room was very clean. However, if you are a light sleeper, I suggest asking for a top floor room no where near the pool. The walls are thin and everything echos, people were noisy almost all night. Being able to check out at noon was the only saving grace for that.

Great place and great location.

Easy to find. Breakfast was to be served between 6 and 9AM. By 8 the selection was small. People who arrived after 8:15 were looking for food. The tables were messy and no one was at the front desk.

Room and bed where confortable, the breakfast was good.The staff was the best.

The location was convenient. 1. We got towels that were stained with... something brown? 2. No juice available for breakfast. 3. A shared gallon of milk? No thx. 4. Both our keys were deactivated a day early. 5. No hot water the 2nd day of our stay. Told the front office who responded "Oh. I'll make a note of that. What room? " No apology. No offered solution. Nada. Would not recommend.

We had bugs in our towels and spiders in our room. There were also stains on our sheets. We went to shower and had zero hot water. This place was not worth 240 for one night.

Kid enjoyed the pool. Staff were awesome. Clean nice rooms. The mini fridge compressor made a high pitched squeal. Figured out someone had turned it to the coolest setting. When I turned it to a lower setting it was much quieter.

Pleasant

I reserved a room at a hotel in Bend, Oregon through Expedia. I had a medical procedure planned for the following morning. The procedure time was changed to the afternoon and there was no need for me to stay at the hotel. I was expected to arrive at the hospital at 8am. It is a 4 hour drive from my house. I would have had to leave no later than 4am. to arrive on time. Since the time was changed, I decided to sleep at home as I would not have to leave until ~ 9am due to the change in the procedure time. I called the hotel to explain the changes and to cancel my reservation. The reservation stated 24 hours are needed for cancellation. I was driving to the hotel when I received the information of the change in time for my procedure. Hotel employee was appropriate and informed me since the cancellation was not 24 hour prior to my stay, I will be charged for the room. And I was charged the full amount. I am sorry Expedia is all about the money. I will no longer use Expedia for hotel reservations.

Clean place for a family to spend a night or two to explore Bend. Simple but filling breakfast option and people in general are more courteous in Oregon compared to California.
