Red Lion Inn & Suites Deschutes River Bend

The pool was nice to have and I liked that there were towels out there for everyone to use. Overall, for $156 a night, I was disappointed. I can’t imagine that the $100 hotels nearby, could be that much worse than that.

Nice clean place to stay. Bend is a beautiful place to visit. Make sure you make it out to the food trucks.

The room appeared clean at first, but the floor turned my kids feet black from them walking around. The breakfast was very minimal and the eggs were terrible. The door to the outside didn't seal all the way, so it was very noisy and the got cold at night with the air flowing in.

Very good budget friendly hotel. We appreciated the late checkout at noon while most of the hotels have checkout between 10-11 am. We even asked and got a free late check out extended to 1pm. Only reason I don’t give 5 stars is the amount of plastic wasted in the breakfast room. Please offer silverware and reduce the plastic waste which is huge. Even if this means raising the night rates.

Was a good last minute stay, bedding was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was not the greatest but it was clean. Nice breakfast. The staff was super nice and very helpful.

Overall our experience wasn't all that bad. We faced a little attitude upon check-in, but the staff helping us was suffering a bit from allergies. The room was adequate for a one-night stay, but we wouldn't want to stay longer. The amenities felt thrown together as an after thought. One bottle of bodywash soap was provided which we had to share between the shower and the sink. The worse part for room cleanliness was the shower mold. A very easy thing to fix with the right cleaning solution if a house cleaner took pride in their work. The breakfast was just ok...it was edible.

Good average hotel

When we checked in, it seemed the desk clerk might be high. During breakfast, I discovered a pubic hair in my cold scrambled eggs. When I brought this to the front desk manager's attention, he absurdly asked if I had kept the hair. The entire experience, along with the management, was nauseating. I will never trust Expedica again for giving this terrible place a positive rating, and I will not stay at a Red Roof Inn again.

It was very small and there was alot of noise at all hours. Doors were slammed. I did not get much sleep at all.
