Great location in Gorica area. Very friendly and helpful staff - good recommendations for food and day tours. Very relaxed atmosphere. Nice breakfast - basic with a few local specialties...

Cannot recommend this place enough! The rooms are great, excellent location and Miri and the staff are always wonderful. The breakfast is delicious and they offered some amazing local tours to wineries and nearby rafting in the canyon river.

The local staff is very nice and friendly, really helped me when needed help (the volunteers are less experienced though) tried to charge me 3 euro for a towel (show them it is included in the rooms amenities) Charged 5% for credit card.. not sure why.

- There is a clear bus time table which is quite helpful - breakfast is simple but fresh - I booked a twin room and the shower is not so spacious

One of the nicest private rooms we stayed in during our trip to Albania! Very spacious and had a very nice bathroom with great water pressure and heat and the balcony was wonderful. Nothing! It was perfect.

Multi-generation guests, friendly and engaging volunteers, very pleasant and helpful owner Miri, delicious free breakfasts, indoor and outdoor seating, fabulous view from third floor private room balcony, and finally, hostel location close to everything….all made for a great experience!

It's right o the riverside with a superb view of the rock with the castle and part of the old town. On that side of the river there are very few cars going. It's calm but still very close to the center. The hostel has a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast is good.

I had the best time of my life at Maya hostel. It’s perfect location and the stuff is super nice. I spent all my time with the owner and volunteers. If you want to enjoy Berat, you should definitely go for Maya hostel! :) Nothing.
