Staff was very helpful, check in was quick, complementary breakfast was top notch as good as you could hope. Rooftop bar is really nice. Would stay here again.

You really cannot beat this location. Besides being extremely close to UC Berkeley, there's many interesting neighborhoods you can walk to (eg. Gourmet Ghetto). It's easy to walk to the hotel from the Downtown Berkeley Bart Station. If you do not want the valet parking, you can park overnight at the North Berkeley Bart station, which is a two minute ride to the Downtown Berkeley Bart Station (ie. the hotel). There are numerous buses along nearby Shattuck Ave, as well (essentially, adjacent to the Downtown Berkeley Bart station) All of the staff were very nice and welcoming. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely return!

The breakfast was AMAZING. Free breakfast that tasted like a home cooked meal!!!! That sold me alone

Great location for Cal summer camp

Excellent stay. We reserved several rooms for a wedding and the staff helped resolve an overbooked room issue. Didn't realize parking was valet only, but it turned out to be very convenient.

The staff are responsive, warm and friendly. I have never stayed in a cleaner hotel.

Everything was 5 stars. I had a great, comfortable, safe, clean stay. Would recommend to anyone interested in the same.

Hotel was amazing and very clean. Kelly at the front desk was great! She was very helpful with all of our needs. And even was able to get us an early check in! Definitely will be staying here any time we are in the area.

I have never been to this place before, but I gotta say it has exceeded in my expectations. Place is beautiful. The staff was excellent very helpful. The rooms were spotless. The amenities were on point. Everything is within walking distance, food transit theaters university all at your doorstep, I am definitely gonna be back at this location. Next time I visit Berkeley I definitely recommended to anybody who’s on their way there to stay in this location
