The room had a nice feature of 3 spaces with sliding doors (although gaps so no noise insulation). Good for our party of parents and 2 teens. No sink with toilet but used shower on low to wash hands

Parking was very expensive. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The towels did not smell clean and were well worn.

Overall experience was great, staff were super friendly and nice, rooms were clean and very nice, the only thing I did not like was the ice room, it needs ventilation too much moisture and smelly. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent breakfast. Reasonably comfortable bed. Valet parking overnight is excessively expensive.

The small bedroom I stayed in this time had a bit of a funky smell and could have used better ventilation. Other than that, I had another enjoyable stay.

Valet is great, breakfast unbelievable, staff is the best!! Fitness center is top notch. You won't find a better place to stay!

Location. Spacious rooms. The room is designed for only one person. Light bleed from bathroom area. No true door to the toilet/shower room. No fan in that room. Nowhere to hang a hand towel in the bathroom sink area. Garbage can in kitchen didn’t have the liner in it. No dimmable lights next to bed. Unhidden electrical area. So many doors to check into from elevator to the room. Can’t cool the room below 65 degrees. Really poorly designed. Won’t be staying again.

You really cannot beat this location. Besides being extremely close to UC Berkeley, there's many interesting neighborhoods you can walk to (eg. Gourmet Ghetto). It's easy to walk to the hotel from the Downtown Berkeley Bart Station. If you do not want the valet parking, you can park overnight at the North Berkeley Bart station, which is a two minute ride to the Downtown Berkeley Bart Station (ie. the hotel). There are numerous buses along nearby Shattuck Ave, as well (essentially, adjacent to the Downtown Berkeley Bart station) All of the staff were very nice and welcoming. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely return!
