King's Garden Resort

We loved the cottage-style rooms, which were bright, clean, comfortable, and stayed cool despite the hot and humid Koh Samui weather. The mosquito netting around the bed was a thoughtful touch, and the entire property was well-maintained. Check-in was smooth, and the location was fantastic—just steps from a quiet section of Chaweng Beach. We especially enjoyed the beachfront massages, bar service, and peaceful atmosphere while still being close to restaurants and shops. There was very little to dislike about the property. Our cottage was the closest one to the road and directly across from a restaurant/bar, so we initially worried about noise. However, the rooms were surprisingly well soundproofed, and it was never disruptive during our stay. Very light sleepers may notice some distant noise at night, but it was not an issue for us.

Great location and cottage bungalows

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The location is superb. Right on the beach. A lot of great restaurants nearby. Room Service offerings from 3 different kitchens with different foods. Absolutely great value for the price. I really can't think of anything I didn't like. I will absolutely return to this location. Maybe some people won't like that bugs exist (outside the room), but that's just Thailand. I think it's great that the resort provides mosquito coils outside the room to help a little bit if you are in the lounging area outside your room.

Everything is just perfect about this hotel, Food is tasty and they offer great Varieties, clean, amazing garden views, employees are polite & the service is great. Romantic for honeymooners too. The beach is 10 seconds away, walking distance. It is in the middle of chaweng where you can find anything needed for a relaxing holiday just next to you. Mainly nothing. All was better than expected.

Nothing. It was totally amazing.

Try to get a room away from the road, closer to the beach. Loud music from nearby bars until midnight. My only complaint about the stay, which is not the fault of the hotel.

The bungalows and surroundings were lovely and peaceful. Lounge chairs, massage, kayaks and a restaurant and bar were available right at the beach!

We loved everything about King’s Garden! Great location, super chill, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable amenities, GREAT breakfast and lunch, and having massage tables in between our room and the ocean was unbeatable!! We almost ditched our current location in Ko Tao to go back! Almost. If you’re close to the street the sound may carry.

Exceptional

We loved our stay at the resort. The staff was very friendly and nice. The breakfast was really good and you can choose to either sit inside or outside and have a great view out over the beach. The room was clean and the AC worked fine. The garden was well taken care of and nice to just take a walk around the bungalows in the evening. The staff keep the beach clean in front of the resort. The resort have a place down by the beach where you can get massage. You have everything close to the resort, shopping mall, small shops, massage, tattoo studios, ATM, restaurants and so on. On the beach there are several activities, like Jet ski and paragliding. The resort have a private parking, which was perfect since we came with a car. It has a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere We will for 100% sure go back to this resort and we can strongly recommend it to others. I wish the TV could be a newer smart TV. You can order food with your phone an pay directly online. However, when they delivered the food to our bungalow they were wondering how we should pay and I told that I had paid by card online. The man walked away, but came back again after som minutes and wondered if we could prove that we had paid. I showed him the order confirmation where it said it was paid online. After a while the man came back together with another woman and now she wanted us again to show that we had paid. I logged in to my bank and showed the history, where it could be seen that the money was taken from my account. They later could see in their system that I had paid and apologized. But the whole thing made me feel uncomfortable and they came to talk about this when I was eating and I kind of lost the "feeling". At another occasion, our plate with food left overs was standing outside our bungalow for more than 48 hours and it was smelling very bad. They told us to just put the plates outside the room when were done eating, so a bit surprised that no one took it back. They even cleaned the room, but left the plate with old food on the terrace. People from other hotels came to this resort and occupied sun beds and as a paying guest, that's not really appreciated.

Little piece of heaven . Location is brilliant, quiet end of chewang beach but short walk anywhere . Great location. The room was stunning ? It was incredible having a beach front room watching the sea as the sun rises .. For a more expensive style resort it was worth it be brcause staff were so friendly.and pleasant...not rude like other high priced resorts I've stayed in whilst in Thailand . I loved my stay would definitely come back Only negative I can think of is more about other travellers putting their towels on sun loungers on the beach at ,6,,am but not coming to use them until 1pm .. such a shame people do this and take it away from others to enjoy the beach for those hours

We really like the direct access to the sea, very well maintained resort with a great staff and the convenience of on-site restaurant and Juice available on the Beach. The breakfast is very good. The staff is very Nice also. Nothing to say

The location is very central and just by the beach. Not in the too crowded part of Chaweng. The garden is so peaceful and beautifully decorated. The bungalow is spacious and clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. Two bottles of water are complimentary every day. Breakfast has good options. Not very crowded facility The bathroom needs refurbishing, esp the Armatures and metal accessories

I like location the most, breakfast is so so, beach is great but too bad we were not allow to swim breakfast

The location is amazing on the main street. When you go inside you can’t hear any noise and the garden is so serene. Wifi and Air-con is great. Beach access- highly recommend getting up early to take a walk on the beach. Each room is it’s own small cabana and has a small terrace outside - so no neighbors banging on the walls. Beach towels and amenities provided are of good quality. Quick laundry service and hairdryer in room. Breakfast is good, they have warm and cold options and a station where you can press your own fresh juice. Restaurant closes at 8pm - however there are plenty of other restaurants less than 2min walks away.

Beautiful location. Right next to the beach. Best breakfast in a really nice dining area overlooking the sea. Beach was clean and water clear although not as clear as on Koh Tao. We were in a room near the road so noisy until around 11-00pm
