Location amazing Better drapes that would keep the sun out And the calking in the shower is overdue for replacement that was disappointing to say the least Towels are small and rough they need replacing as well All else was great

The staff were very friendly and flexible - so happy to greet us and take care of our random requests. We were surprised at the hotel's central location - right on the canal, yet a quiet oasis out the back. Reasonably priced car parking was a couple of streets away - no problem. Such a large and luxurious bed and bathroom.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. They all seemed to enjoy providing exceptional service. Everyone from the front desk staff to the wait staff. I particularly enjoyed the picture-perfect and delicious breakfasts in the sun room. Such a perfect way to start the day! Not sure when we’ll make it back to Bruges, but we will stay here again - likely with more family members and definitely for more than two nights! There is literally nothing to not like about this property. Perhaps there was a piece of gravel slightly out of place in the parking lot - but if so, we did not notice it.

Room was large, bathroom was pretty, but decor was dry, had minimum set up, no replenishment for coffee, one bottle of water, no view at all, ok service

Stunning hotel, staff amazing, super clean rooms. Breakfast was excellent!!!!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone seems genuinely happy to work there. The bed was super comfortable. We had a charming room and it was very quaint and cozy. I loved that the room had a bathtub! I also appreciate that they use Belgian bath products, always keep it local! At a 5 star hotel, I have higher expectations. Dusting and cleaning underneath the bed, for example. The shower door didn't seal completely so the water leaked out all over the floor. To prevent this, we had to use hand towels and they became soaking wet. Finally, there is a small note that explains the concentration of the bathroom products. This is great, however, it would be better suited in the shower. For example, the conditioner is not meant to be rinsed out of the hair, it is a leave-in product. I didn't know this until after I used it as it didn't say on the note and I'm not accustomed to reading the bottles before using. A solution might be to take the conditioner out of the shower and place it near the sink to emphasize that is not to be used in the shower. The products are lovely, but as they are concentrated, they have a strong smell. Reading the information in the shower might help future guests who don't always read the small notes.

    It was fabulous!

The property is in a fantastic location. The staff is exceptional. One of the truly great properties of the world, because of the staff that is focused on hospitality as a profession. Too many day tourists in Bruges. Not the fault of the hotel but rather lack of government control.

  • Engine customer Jul 2025

The staff wasn't helpful when asked about restaurant recommendations or the timeline of the bus stop outside the hotel. Called several times the front desk and no one responded...

  • Engine customer Jun 2025

Everything. The location was perfect as we could walk to all the important sites. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We wish we had stayed longer to try out their restaurant.

  • Engine customer Jun 2025

Very charming and centrally located hotel. Beautiful furnishings. It seemed like the staff really didn’t want to have much to do with us. Virtual check in and check out to “speed things up” but it seemed impersonal and almost unfriendly.

top class hotel in fantastic location by one of the classic Bruges canals; no more than a 5 minute walk to any of the main attractions in town. Service was outstanding, room was comfortable - no chest of drawers to store clothes and room was sparsely decorated. Not really a criticism- more of an observation. Did not eat in the restaurant as we dont need Michelin-star type food. But ... all in all a lovely hotel in a perfect location in a charming city

  • Engine customer May 2025

Centrally located. Easy walk to city attractions. Very pleasant and professional staff. The hotel lounge was pleasantly decorated and comfortable. Good place to relax after touring the city. Basically, nothing to dislike. Well run place.
