property is old. upkeep was good, but rooms are old and need a refresh, old carpet and furnshings

Hotel was grand the rooms where a bit dirty there a blood stain on the curtain but other than it was good. No microwave to heat up food and no pool. Breakfast was okay egg and bacon and cereal and toast was it.
-
They didn't have room slippers, their internet was down, and the front desk refused to do anything about it. Rooms are advertised as rooms and as non-smoking rooms; in reality, the entire property is a no-smoking zone. No water bottles in the room, no extra water bottles anywhere in the hotel, apparently. Thoroughly unejoyable except for the tub which was great so if you have money do it

Nice hotel pretty hotel we took pictures at
-
The breakfast was paper plates and packets of small silver, bread choices, ugly looking fruit, watery eggs, dried out sausage. The coffee was good. Left less than 12 hours after arriving and was charged for more than a days stay, they wouldn't give me a receipt.

Good weather amazing day

The room was nice and clean. However, there was no microwave, no hairdryer, no coffee pot and no lamps! There was also no place to hang your hand towels. The remote for the TV did not work properly and the TV kept losing internet connection - lots of freezing and buffering. The staff were very helpful and tried to get the TV working. The breakfasts were nice, but they did not put out enough for the amount of people staying. If you got down there an hour after it started, there wasn't much left to choose from. All in all, it was a good value for the price we paid.

The hotel is always great but the breakfast has to be improved. The two attendants at the dining room are not so active and everything we have asked the answer was “No more”, “ it didn’t arrive this morning”, “The hired provides only this Quantity” and some other ridiculous answers that do not shine positively on the hotel itself.

A really cool interesting place. Super comfy bed great shower. A couple jets didnt work on the hot tub but still a nice stay. Will absolutely stay again!

This was by far the worst hotel I ever been at more like a motel the place was dirty they claim it was because of renovations the pictures looked nothing like pictures on line. The rooms was very oily and slippery just by far an horrible experience

Checking in, staff said couldn’t find reservations and basically walked away and left us standing there after we showed them the reservation, receipt of payment and itinerary number. Thankfully a manager happened walk up, heard our frustration and found the reservation immediately. We had traveled from Texas to New York so we were fairly panicked. After the manager got us set up everything went smoothly. The hotel lobby is beautiful.

The property was clean and staff were helpful. Shower head was not working properly but they fixed it right away.

Pictures of everything- requested manager - nobody assisted. The Salvatore family would be mortified! RUN!
-
Its uniqueness (especially among those close to the highway) clearly differentiated it. I would both stay there again, and recommend it to others.

Was recently sold the reviews on this website are not accurate as ownership has changed

Fortunately, the only thing special here is the lobby. And that’s really only if you like feeling your in a 19th century old English garden.
-
Room was delightful, staff was amazing, and the entire feel of the hotel was delightful. Definitely book here if you're tired of the standard "sterile" hotel feel
-
The room was very comfortable and nicely appointed.

location and beds A/C didn't work in our room was moved to another that wasn't much better. Was told that this room would have a pull out couch for the kids and it didn't. One child had to sleep on the floor. We have stayed here before and it was good but we were VERY disappointed this time around.
