You can tell it is an older hotel, but the location for a baseball game is excellent! Just 2 blocks from the hotel. This is our 2nd stay here in the last 3 years for a Bison game, and we will stay again I am sure! The property is kind of old, and not in the greatest part of town. But otherwise a good place to stay.

Honestly, we paid a significant amount of money for this hotel, and I can say with absolute certainty that we will not be coming back. First of all, the first unpleasant surprise happened at check-in, when we found out that the hotel does not have its own parking, even though parking was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel in the first place (!!!). We were told to park in a public city parking lot, which we had to pay for ourselves. What was an even bigger surprise was receiving the hotel bill and seeing that the hotel had charged us $42 for parking. My question is: what exactly was this $42 charge for if our car was parked in a public city parking lot the entire time, and we paid for that parking ourselves? Then there was breakfast. Many reviews mention that the breakfast is good, but as someone from Europe who genuinely cares about food, I have to say that we did not enjoy it. On the first morning, I got pancakes for my child and a waffle for myself, and I simply could not eat either one. The waffle was so unappetizing that I couldn’t finish it, and we were basically left hungry. Thankfully, there was some fruit, which is what I ended up eating. We did not leave a tip, and on the second day we noticed that the woman serving us barely interacted with us at all. On the first day, we were offered coffee and tea, which were brought to us, and we received attentive service. On the second day, nobody even came over to us. We are perfectly capable of getting things ourselves, but the point is that we had already paid for the service, and any additional payment, including a tip, should be voluntary, not something that seems to affect the level of service you receive. The room itself was actually fine. It was clean and tidy, and we have no complaints about the room in general. However, once again, there were additional charges that left a very bad impression.

When I arrived just before 4pm, the desk clerk was not sure if my room was ready or what room I would be in so I had to wait until she sent security to check to see what room was ready. That took a while and I was tired and wait to wait for her to check in other guests. Then her co worker showed up and tried to check me in again and didn't tell me about a charge on my card for incidentals and then no one in the elevator knew how to operate it until we had to figure it out on our own.

We found the rooms in this hotel to be beautiful and spacious. The check-in process was seamless. The only complaint from our party was that the pillows could have been better, but we would stay there again.

Hotel stinks like a stale cigar in the lobby and rooms. Hotel staff were unpleasant. Lobby is under construction like the rest of Buffalo. Pool was out of service. What a terrible hotel.

Hilton is a great hotel chain, we often use them, this just wasn’t the best experience due to various incidents.

It is a fine well run facility with pleasant, well trained staff. I’m retired now but in my career traveled to 39 states. Many hotels. We had a supplier agreement with Hilton so I was a well-travelled Hilton Diamond.

No coffee in lobby. Hotel was part of a high rise office building. Elevators were confusing.

Definitely not a place worth $400 a night. Lack of information at front desk on how the hotel key was needed for elevator and we were in there for almost 5 minutes to figure it out ourselves. I stepped on a carpet staple coming out of the bathroom. Had to go back up to room for towels for pool. Didn’t plan to have to wait 20 plus minutes for our free breakfast. Was hoping to have a worry/stress free night with the kids but instead kept getting surprises that tested the patience of the children and had the adults regretting the cost. Lesson learned was that sometimes even the most expensive isn’t the best. Marriot hotel for sure next time.
