Mayafair Design Hotel

Nothing I was very disappointed with the facility. It was not clean, and there were several issues throughout my stay. The refrigerator did not work, the water pressure was extremely low, there was little to no hot water, and the air conditioning barely worked. The overall condition of the property was unacceptable and appeared poorly maintained. I also noticed roaches, which made the experience even worse. Additionally, there were no towels or washcloths provided as expected. Due to these conditions, I was unable to enjoy my stay and would of like a full refund

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

It was nice and quiet every night of the week I loved the bathtub in the room Bed was very comfortable. Remote control for the air conditioner was very much appreciated. The tall mirror was great! loved the light switch above the bed The bathtub was not cleaned. The body wash and shampoo dispensers were not refilled when empty There were no small face cloths in room possibly whole hotel My room was not cleaned on Friday and ran out of toilet paper and tissue Transportation from airport to hotel would have been very helpful because I was did not know Spanish or understand the currency I was taken advantage of and over paid however from the hotel, the young lady helped me get a taxi. She told me how much the taxi would cost which was 28.00 American dollars I let het know I only had 20 dollar bills so in front of me and the taxi driver she confirmed the price of 28 dollars and let him know I needed change. The cab driver told her would get change and she then told me. I was so appreciative of this gesture and thanked her very much. The cab driver was going to stop to get change i told him it was ok and he could have the rest for tips. He was very respectful and helpful even at airport and I was very grateful for that. Thanks again to the respectful and kind helpful Lady that worked the front desk that Sunday morning for guiding me and making me feel safe.

A lot of stuff close by, stores in the property Air conditioning was top notch The water in the bathtub wouldn’t get hot

I like that it was air-conditioning and it was close to the town. It’s too bad that there was no hot water and the mattress was very uncomfortable, but it’s specific to each person with the mattress. it would be nice that they had live TV and I didn’t have to sign into my own Netflix and prime account..

Good wifi and table for work on computer

Nothing I had a very disappointing experience at this property. Upon checking in, I immediately noticed a bloodstain on the bedsheets, which was unacceptable. There was no hot water during my entire stay, and the pillows were old and extremely uncomfortable. The hallway lights outside my room stayed on all night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The toilet would not flush properly, and the air conditioning was inconsistent—either too cold or too warm, with no comfortable middle setting. I originally booked a nine-night stay but was forced to check out after just three days due to the numerous issues. To make matters worse, the manager promised to process my refund via bank transfer. Despite following up daily, I have received no response. Very disappointing experience overall. I would not recommend staying here.

Old hotel, no hot water we told them but no one fixed it up.

I like the look and the ambiance Not enough places to eat really close you’ll have to walk a few kilometers

The staff was friendly and it was by some shops The building had a lot of wear and tear, it was very dirty. The towels were all clean. It just wasn’t clean in my opinion. But you get what you pay for.

It was very unique and artistic and offered a lot of amenities for an amazing price It had a strong mold smell

Location My hotel room was flooded from toilet water, there were a group of young guys playing pool all night by my hotel room door. The room was extremely cold. The bed sheets were dirty. I had no soap or face towels. The building is also leaking water from the ceilings. Staff had me wait in the hallway while they were booking more Mexican customers that live in Cancun my experience was horrible.

It's close to the hotel zone . Friendly staff. Good money value with breakfast .

Coffee maker was not available. Lot of noise from the lobby and neighboring rooms could be heard at night.

Location was nice. Not in busy area but easy to get around by bus or taxi. Place was dirty and smelled like mildew. There were items broken in room. The toilet sits in the shower area and the toilet paper gets wet when showering so had to take off roller and remember to bring in with me when needed. The staff at front desk was less than helpful and didn’t speak English. I know I was in Mexico and they speak Spanish but you would think they would try to cater to the tourists a little. On check in they did not have 500 Passos change for me. I had to keep returning to get my change. I needed new towels and it took me finally finding a house keeper and pointing to them to get a towel.

I stayed there 5 times before and it’s close to the beach No hot water no towels mold smelling and noises

The location is convenient because its close to the tourist area. Workers there were nice The hotel dont look like the pictures. Is deteriorating. The stairs some of the facilities at their rooms are asking for change. If you're planning to book the hotel just for sleeping is a good deal.

Very good location. Nice parking spot, and hotel close to all night-life of Cancun. The hotel is an old mall turned into a hotel probably. Looks weird, but rooms are spatious and nice. Spent two nights there in 2 different bookings. Guys helped us with the luggage and stored them for a few hours after checkout. The hotel looks old, kinda smells humidity but rooms don't smell bad. There is not fridge in all rooms. Breakfast that was in price was really poor (1.5 slices of toasted bread, 1 cup of coffee or juice, a one-portion-packet of butter and marmelade.
