The staff was very polite and helpful. The AC was not very good. The bathroom were not very clean.

The location, the rooftop infinity pool and hot tub, the cleanliness and security of the hotel were great!!!! Room service is a little slow when we asked for refills on toiletries and extra plate. Other than that everyone was so kind and helped in any way possible. The highlight for me was the hotel’s tour desk and Jesus helped me with everything from answering a billion questions and finding the best rates for tours and activities to do around Cancun!

Clean, comfy, nice breakfast. Hot tub was cold. No pool drinks before noon is a weird rule, especially if you prefer quiet pool hours before it gets crazy. And the drinks we did eventually order were very weak and not worth the price. Lastly, no self serve coffee/drink for the breakfast is a hassle. Had to ask for it.

It felt new, modern with excellent location While most of the staff were wonderful, our experience with the receptionist during check-in and on Day 2 was disappointing. After asking for bus routes, she was checking on her phone (we assume) but then immediately pivoted to another guest speaking Spanish without acknowledging us or asking us to wait. We felt ignored and undervalued as guests. We waited 3-4 min and left. During check-in, we gave her the benefit of doubt that she isn’t comfortable with English but realized she did speak good English, so there is definitely a bigger issue here.

Big room Despite checking-in at 6 pm, we still had to wait 30 min for the room. Quite expensive breakfast. We had to remind the waiters three times about the coffee/water. Poor sound isolation in the room - we could hear the people in the room nearby.

Needed a soft quilt on top. Thin blanket wasn't comfortable.

Liked the personnel and the hotel itself. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean! The coffee was not to my liking, it was watered down. Other than that all was great at the Canopy hotel.

The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach. Also my room was right in front of a huge ferris wheel, blocking the view of the lagoon and destroying the privacy of the room.

There was a male guest here that was persistent in getting my attention. I don’t like conflict. I asked another guest for help and he was very friendly and helpful. Security and Management found out and followed up with me to ensure I was safe and ok.

Location & friendly staff The room wasn’t clean, sink and toilet bowl has dirty stains and hair scrap, nail scrap on the floor and a maid put hand soap (not a shower gel) in bathroom. And a trolley was block a door. We’ve complained too many time but a staff was ignored and take a slowly action

Did not show up with a key or pin. I messaged and called numerous times, no response from the host or Booking.com. I made my way to the property hoping they had left a key with the concierge NOTHING! Funds were also taken out of my account. BIG SCAM. DO NOT BOOK. Horrific experience
