Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Charleston Downtown

I have to admit, I arrived a little frustrated because I wasn't aware that valet parking was required. However, the front desk manager handled the situation with patience, kindness, and professionalism. She took the time to explain the valet process and pricing, helped us get checked in quickly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The level of customer service really stood out and turned my initial frustration into a very positive experience. I truly appreciated the staff's friendly attitude and willingness to help. Thank you for making our visit to Charleston enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

Everything was great!! The location, the staff, and the room.

There was not enough breakfast food out they were out of basic such as bagels and yogurt. The eggs were ice cold. The selection was mediocre. The room was in disarray because they did not clean our room for two days leaving towels everywhere and I had to go get them myself and garbage overflowing. I had to do laundry laundry room had a terrible odor.

The hotel is coveniently located within the city-centre and a lovely breakfast with a wide variety of options to chose from. I didn't like the limited parking as you had to pay for valet parking each time you came to the hotel.

I’m sure you have heard the response on this. 35.00 really? It’s written, yes. But last in the fine print. The process for parking is more complex than it has to be. The rest of the stay was excellent.

No nearby chain restaurants. I had to drive 15+ minutes to reach one. There were local restaurants in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Our rooms were cleaned well the pool area was well maintained the staff was amazing

Staff was super friendly. Valet guys were great . I was able to extend my stay by a day with no trouble at all. Would definitely stay again

The building was really nice. Our bedroom was very nice. It was clean smelled Great! Nice pool. The best thing was the Staff. They were so nice. When I checked in, they were a big help. They even tried to find me an upgrade in my room, but unfortunately, they were all taken. Thank you to them for being awesome. it was a good one night day at a reasonable price.

Location for medical was great

Parking was easy for me, they have valet. The front desk staff was very professional, accommodating and pleasant. My room was neat and clean. The pool is medium small and goes up to 5 feet. The hotel was in the best location if youre visiting the hospital across the street.

The breakfast lady was super nice and was consistently filling and cleaning the breakfast buffet. Our room was very clean. Parking was valet only at $35 per day which was a pain.

The valet parking was a nice bonus. Breakfast was good and all staff were friendly. Only one elevator worked which slowed things down. During the evening/night you could hear everything that was happening in the hall and adjacent rooms. Not very peaceful.

They charge you $35 a day to park your car. That was my only issue with the place. It’s a little deceiving thinking you’re getting a lower price than they charge a parking. Did not like that.
