I like the location of this hotel, the best only downside is isolation of walls needs to be done, since you can letteraly hear your neighbors sneezing and turning in bed.Valet guys are very helpful and friendly, staff is friendly

Location was excellent, super cute decor, nice to have a pool, but somewhat hard to navigate between floors, small rooms, and the gym is actually located in the sister hotel which is a five-minute walk away.
-
Great boutique hotel in the middle of French quarter. Pool filled up quick as loungers go fast. Very nice staff and location

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Extremely noisy. If you don't mind street noise, fire engine sirens, motorcycles, loud music and basically not sleeping throughout the night due to noise then this is the hotel for you. Windows are so thin I had to check to make sure they were closed. Terrible night stay.

We did find the room a bit small and on the dark side. Additional charges for little palm/daily amenity fee!/valet @58$ (not obliged) all adds up.

The positives - The hotel is in a great location and there are a lot of things within walking distance. The rooms are retro and really cute. The beds were comfortable. We got room service one night and it was really good. Having the outdoor pool at the hotel was wonderful.

The pool had zero seats the whole time, which was the main reason we booked the hotel. The hotel was nice, but the doors never locked which was a security issue for me.

Very beautiful and tasteful renovation

My original room was way too small and there was a large bug waiting for us inside. So they switched us to another larger room. Hotel was great, the staff excellent but the pool area was almost not usable. By 9am the very few lounge chairs were already take up. Not good for families who want to spend the day at the pool.

Very cute hotel. Great location. Just a few blocks from City Market and King Street. Food was just okay. Pool was cute but felt like you were in a fish bowl with everyone watching the way it's situated. BUt, still nice that they had one. All the staff were really nice. Love the $10 credt at the coffee shop each morning. But good luck getting late night bites. The evening clerk was SOOO NICE and snagged some peanut m&m's for us in a pinch. THANK YOU MARK! Don't expect a view from most of the rooms of any kind. BUT, the rooms themselve are sooo cute and very spacious. Definitely recommend again. Price was great! But could do without the resort fee since there weren't many available to you other than the pool - and again - wasn't very useful with the size.

Poor service.

There's no bar or lounge in the hotel, but the 1540 restaurant was large and bright, and the food was good. The bathroom was odd in that there was no place to put any toiletries, no shelf or cabinet of any kind and the mirror was not above the sink. It was on the wall to the left. The only trash can in the entire suite was in the bathroom. And it was very small.

Also a bonus they gave a $10 credit to the coffee shop, loved it!
