Excellent experience at Sono Chicago! Everything felt like it had personal attentive service in a cozy bed and breakfast atmosphere! Beautiful rooms and located in a nice quiet area, with plenty to do within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again for future visits to Chicago, thank you!

Quiet, comfortable and friendly staff! Parking was included, nice area of Chicago!

We stayed for one night and the accommodations were perfect. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. The breakfast was very nice and we ate out on the terrace. Highly recommend!

We stayed at The Sono for three nights recently while visiting our son who lives in Lakeview. We stayed in the deluxe King room which was great - Large room, bathroom and nice porch. The location is good, just a 7 minute walk to the Brown line and a 12 minute walk to the Red line. Both walks felt safe at night. You are also a 15 minute UBER from downtown. The breakfast room was very comfortable with many places to sit including a table, lounge area with TV, or outside in a nice shared patio. Food options were good - yogurt with fruit, pastries, cereal, toast/English muffins......but it's not a hotel breakfast (no eggs, pancakes....) The entire place was extremely clean including our room and shared spaces. The TV comes with many streaming options - we even found live sports on HULU. I was a bit nervous about this being a B&B and the neighborhood location. But the neighborhood is safe and quiet, and the amenities are top notch. We will definitely stay here again, and I would recommend this place if you are visiting someone in Lincoln Park, Lakeview, or Old Town. **Free parking on the street worked perfectly.

We loved staying at the Sono, our first time. The street is really lovely and quiet, and we could park right out front with the permit provided. Lovely spaces, including our balcony, the kitchen area and the rooftop. Will definitely stay here again.
-
There is no elevator so walking up and down 3 or 4 stories multiple times during our stay. Would do it again though.

The staff was super friendly, the room was clean, and the common area was super nice and breakfast pastries were delicious. Nice neighborhood close to the salt shed. the only thing I did not enjoy were the pillows. all were very flat. :/

5 stars! Highly recommend.

This is one of our favorite places to stay in Chicago. The parking is relatively easy, and you can leave your car there and walk to public transportation. There are also lots of dinner options within walking distance. We love heading to the rooftop with our bottle of wine. There are snacks upon arrival and a modest breakfast. Can't really think of anything. We book here whenever it's available.

Close to some great places to eat locally and about an hour walk to river and central business activities......and a very comfy bed!

We loved the location, the value, the simple, but delicious breakfast, the staff, the rooftop terrace, and the intimate nature of the property. Nothing!
-
Enjoyed the location and the breakfast! Could walk to many restaurants and shopping locations. Very easy access to property.

The manager Jose took care of everything we needed including a very good Continental Breakfast!
-
Lovely setting. Great room & bathroom. The location was perfect. Ability to park for free was the selling perk for us. My only complaint (and it is minor) is that the breakfast was continental. It would be exceptional if it were a full breakfast, but again that is a minor nitpicky comment.
-
It was beautifully renovated, had luxury towels/linens, a spacious room and bathroom (I had the deluxe king) and a delicious, well-presented continental breakfast with lots of options. The staff were super helpful and friendly. There is also a lovely rooftop deck with excellent views of the city. Perfect on a warm summer evening! It was walking distance to buses and the Brown Line as well as many restaurants and shops. The only challenge was getting my heavy suitcase up and down the stairs (no elevator in these old buildings!). By the staff kindly carried it for me, as I could not manage it on my own.

When we first got there, finding parking was easy, and right away we received a warm welcome from Jose. He gave us a tour and offered us some snacks and water. The place has a nice patio and rooftop. The breakfast was really good. They offer a variety of items to choose from. The whole place is really clean, especially the room. The place definitely exceeded our expectations. The locations was also great. N/A
