Clearwater Beach Sheraton Resort on Sand Key

The Major Issue was that both my wife and I almost drowned in the Ocean due to not having a Lifeguard on duty. We expressed our concern to the front desk and told them to at a minimum inform the guests that Sharaton does not have a lifeguard and if you go to the ocean, you are on your own and could risk drowning.

Besides the unforeseen 30 dollar daily parking fee, and 25 dollar per day resort fee we had a lovely time. Nice location, free access to the trolley, beach was enjoyable not overall crowded and twice we saw dolphins swimming while at the beach.

BEACH!!! We had the most amazing trip!! The Sheraton hotel was very nice and had lots of cool amenities. We loved the private beach and really appreciated how it was not very crowded. The pool was also wonderful and relaxing. The staff were also so kind and helpful. Thanks for a great trip, we are already dreaming of coming back!

Good drinks and food. Great service.

The only complaint is that for a Saturday there should have been a second bartender at the outside pool bar. We went to grab drinks and food and sat at the bar. The one bartender never once looked at us or said you need to order in line before sitting at the bar. So we ended up leaving not ordering anything as the line was very long. Everything else was great. More staff needed outside for pool bar.

Great resort for tranquil family vacation. The location and renovated rooms make it a must if you want to visit Clearwater Beach.

I had an exceptional stay at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort. The property is clean, modern, and beautifully situated on a quiet stretch of beach. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the amenities—from the pool to the restaurants—were top‑notch. My room was comfortable with great views, and everything about the stay felt easy and relaxing. Highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Clearwater Beach.

The location is excellent, with plenty of nearby restaurants and attractions, making it convenient to explore the area. We also found it to be a great choice for families. The atmosphere was welcoming, and there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean hotel in a great location that’s just steps from the beach and perfect for a family vacation, I would definitely recommend the Sheraton Sand Key!

Perfect location and my family love how quiet it is. Still close to the main island if you want to access restaurants and shops.

Definitely stayed in better hotels small pool and everything was an extra charge

It was perfect for our family on a one night stay. We would definitely stay there again. The only thing was the pool was very small but other then that is was great!

The jolly trolly This hotel is basically a cruise ship on land. Rude waiter at awful Rusty’s restaurant to rude bartender in the main stay hole in the wall. This place was DATED and needs to be updated to reflect the cost of the stay. The hotel is a convention/conference location. The overall feel wasn’t a great and enjoyable experience and I felt I wasted my money. Let’s also mention the distance of the ocean!!!! They have to take a golf cart and shuttle people back and forth. Ummm. The pictures they post are MISLEADING. I did not like.
