The hotel needs refurbishing, breakfast is terrible

Very old and dirty.

I was traveling with my teen son, and specifically picked this place for the pool. Unfortunately, the pool was too cold, and the hot tub was not heated at all. Both were unusable. We had a room with a jacuzzi tub, however the jets did not work. The room was okay, except the carpet felt damp and there were a couple of drawers that were broken and hanging.

Overpriced for what you get, breakfast was not good, missing soap/non working TV remote both addressed right away. Overall an OK experience it should be under $99 per night

The negatives: In my hotel room alone there were 3 broken furniture pieces, it was very obvious the mattress needed changing, and the "clean" appearance is really only surface clean, when you really look, there are spots on the furniture/wall that had actual caked on food/God knows what. There were stains on the bedding, on the bathtub, and the curtains The positives: This hotel was really really calm and quiet. With private access to the rooms (if you're on ground floor) using a sliding glass door. Breakfast wasn't terrible, seemed to be a decent selection. Short drive to SPAC if you're a concert go-er. There is an IHOP and an outback steakhouse within walking distance from the hotel. The pool looked very nice! Overall, you get what you pay for- if you're not going to spend time in the room, it's not that big of a deal. However if you want to feel clean and at home when you go back to your accommodations, this is not the place for you.

Staff were willing to help, however, it didn’t result in our favor. It felt very unsafe. We took one step into our room and felt very eerie and requested a refund— didn’t touch anything, use any of their items, etc. and received 25% of our stay as a refund. We had to book at another hotel for the night because of the lack of security there (e.g. weak lock in our room that led to the back parking lot). Very disappointed in this location. It looks nothing like the photo gallery online— much dirtier and less secure.

Room was not worth the price. The front end staff was very nice and professional. Our room however was gross. Makeup on my side of the bed. Floor wasnt thoroughly vacuumed, food on the floor. There was pee on the bathroom floor around the toilet. For our entire stay the shampoo remained empty. The complimentary breakfast ie.. sausage was lukewarm and shriveled from being served repeatedly. I have pics

The location was fine. The breakfast was okay. I paid on booking.com for a spa double bed room. We got there and they said they did not have it available and gave us a double bed room. I had to pay for the spa room anyway. Our room was disgusting. Bathtub was dirty. The toilet would barely flush. The sheets had stains/ tiny holes.

Called in reservation in morning and advised arriving late and what time does the pool close. Was informed it was a 24 hour pool. When we arrived at 9:35 was told pool closes at 10. This is why we chose this hotel. Clerk said the person should not have told us it was a 24 hour pool. Therefore, had almost no time to swim. Not the first time this hotel chain has let us down. Not going to be a choice in the future.

Place offers great value for a clean comfortable hotel with a convenient location to I-87. Only negative is the key cards to the room were not working and I kept having to have it re-programmed.
-
The issue I had was the room. It looked like it was not cleaned properly. Stains on the furniture, lamp shades and curtains. Ripped sheets and torn furniture. I paid more money for their suite room and was not worth it. Not to mention the ceiling that looked moldy. Also, the ac did not make the room cold, took several hours to cool it a bit . The positive, there was plenty of parking the staff were friendly, the hallways and lobby was very quiet and check in and check out was quick and easy.

It wasn’t my first choice at all. I had to go with it because all the good hotel prices around Saratoga went up because of the Belmont. Many hotels weren’t even available on that particular day. No elevators. Breakfast time is ridiculous. 6-9 AM.

Steer clear of this place, there are many better options in the area. Unhelpful staff with bad attitudes. You’ve been warned!
