Hotel and staff were great. My stay was for (2) days and I was surprised that housekeeping did not clean the room? N/A

Convenient to SPAC at a much lower price. Dependable level of comfort, amenities and cleanliness.

Hotel was clean. Front staff friendly and helpful. Easy access to main road with lots of choices for eating options.

Exceptional

I checked in around 5pm. My room was disheveled. Looked messy. Hair in the shower. So I called and said I was running out to a meeting, but upon arrival could I be put in a new room. They said yes. I got back to the hotel at 10:30PM, and went to the front desk. They gave me the SAME hotel room, but said it was cleaned & inspected. Upon going back up to my room, nothing was fixed. Same hair still in the shower. Dresser drawers still open. It was too late for me to deal with getting a new room so I just went to bed.

Exceptional

I stayed here, because it was relatively close to Saratoga. I realize I may have gotten a handicapped room, because that is all they had left, but I did not enjoy the room. When I entered the room there was not a sense of this room being clean or welcoming. The shower is setup for someone who cannot get into a regular shower, so even with the curtain closed water managed to get out all over the bathroom floor. I had to use all of the available towels in order to dry the floor, so I could walk on it. Even before using the shower the bathroom floor felt slippery and unclean. I think there are ways to light or decorate a room to make it feel welcoming and this room did not have it.

Staff was excellent. Especially the bartender James Price was a bit high

We will stay there again but not as happy with this year's trip.

Design of the building and room was very nice. Beds were comfortable The room was a bit dirty and incredibly damp. There was soap scum on the handle of the sink, for example. The carpet, bedsheets, and pillows were wet and smelled mildewy. The room overall just felt very damp and we were not sure how or why and what to do about it.

It was a great 2 day stay.

Needs to be refurbished. Wallpaper was peeling, bathroom caulked was cracked and dirty and room was dimly lit.
