    2. Clean room and bathroom. 3. Honest Owner. (My cousin left her wallet in one of the rooms, and it was returned untouched several hours later.) 4. A good value (especially since we were there only for two nights during the biggest festival of the year. 1. You have to tell the Owner to turn the hot water on, which we found out the second day after not being able to take a shower the first night when we were filthy. (It was never mentioned when we arrived. 2. No indoor heating (which made for chilly nights and early mornings in June). 3. You don't get a key for the front door, so you have to bother the Owner at all hours of the day or night to get in.

I loved the host. He was incredibly accommodating. There are many stairs to my room and he carried my luggage up and down. He always answers the phone if you need to call from your room and speaks good English. We had lovely conversation as well in the lobby. He is very chill and accommodating. He goes above and beyond. The bed was comfortable and for being in the city center it was quiet compared to many other places. He brings you a beautiful breakfast in the morning. The place is a 9 min safe and flat walk to the city center where performances, fancy meals and tourist shopping awaits. This is typical for cusco area but the shower is not hot, it is less than freezing but not warm. You just have to get used to cold showers and be prepared for that. Otherwise the bathroom was very nice and everything functioned well! I don't know where the knocking came from in the early morning but when I was sleeping there was lots of noise and beeping from trucks outside. This is to be expected for the area and it is no fault of the host. He has a very good accommodation!

I stayed here for 3 weeks, as I really loved this place. My room was on the top floor with magnificent mountain Views. The bed and pillows are confortable with white cotton sheets, and the shower is warm. The location is excellent, as it's right on the edge of the oldest part of the historical centre. It's peaceful, being on a quiet road. The internet is fast, usually between 30-40 Mbps, although sometimes it drops down in the afternoon. The host was very helpful, fixing my suitcase and jewellery. He's very attentive to text messages, and will clean your room every day if you want. I'll definitely stay here again if I'm in Cusco. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Just a heads up, sometimes the host goes out for a few minutes, so it's advisable to text him a few minutes before going out. Check out time is 9 am.

Location, close to main attractions and restaurants. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and took care of luggage for a few days while I was on the Salkantay Trek.

Alles! Your porter and reception guy, Lucio is the best that i have ever seen. He was always there ready to help , the baggages he carried them all the way up the stairs saying " its heavy for you let me carry it for you", a gentleman, I got an upgrade and he advised me for that long awaited heater that helped me a lot. The warm water was heaven! The room and bed was comfortable and clean. Wlan worked. One time i went down to look for Lucio for a hair dryer and there he was just arrived and brought us the fresh bread for breakfast. Everyday there's fresh bread, fresh coffee, fresh juice, Joghurt and fruits oh theres a diversity of breakfast, he asked you what do you want the next day " an avocado , scrambled egg etc." A very nice person , friendly and courteous and he even ask the guests of their preferences. Thats a nice gesture not all cared what the guest feel and wanted and he knew exactly how to approach us. He helped us with the tour. Lucio is very professional and extremely good at what he`s doing. Well you got a gold mine there. I extremely recommend this Hostel and its one of the best review I have given. Thank you so much i feel at home and welcome at your humble Hostel. Nothing!

Location/Shower/Breakfast(with caveats): Great location: directly South of San Blas market (great cheap place for lunch), and North of a street with lots of reasonable cafes and restaurants that aren’t listed on Google maps (especially “La Perla Criolla”). Staff was friendly (however only one staff member was working at any given time and they needed to unlock front door before you could enter/leave every time). Shower had good water pressure and was hot (which helped because the room was very cold). Our first breakfast was good: bread, butter, jam, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice, (however each day forward we received less of one or more items, and although it was stated breakfast would be ready at a specific time 7-9 and in the dining room, staff called our room to tell us that breakfast would be delivered to our room in 30 minutes; which sometimes meant 5 minutes and sometime meant 50 minutes). Hassle to get in & out/Cold rooms/Breakfast times/Laundry service: The one staff member working must unlock door for you (one time we were told staff was going out so we would be locked in for 20-30 minutes, fine, but then we were locked in for almost an hour, waiting to get out for lunch. Cold room; one staff said they had an electric heater for rent, then we asked for it, and another staff said they did not. Breakfast times were not consistent, we would get a call saying breakfast would be delivered in 30 minutes; sometimes it arrived in 5 and sometimes 50 minutes later. The breakfast was good the first day, but each day after was less and less. We used their laundry service; it took almost 24 hours and many of our clothing came back with odd marks on them (dirtier than before), we sent them back, and some were re-cleaned, but still not very clean.

Really enjoyed the stay in this Hostel. The Location is great, the rooms are super clean, have hot shower, great Wifi and everything else you need. Additionally you get breakfast and an adorable host. The hospitality of the host ist excellent. He also organized the best Rainbow Mountain tour for us and always tried to help. Thank you!
