Centrally located for touristic spots such as architecture, restaurants, activities, markets, shopping. Also, set back from the street which made for very quiet and good sleep. No windows in the rooms make the room very quiet for sleeping but no views.

This was in the center of Cuzco and a perfect botique hotel. It had a mountain lodge vibe which was perfect. The staff when above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They even coordinated a chauffer to help get us to Ollantaytambo. I was so grateful for that connection because we used him several times throughout our trip. This hotel felt like I was visiting a relative because they made me feel so welcome!

The service was absolutely incredible. Reception was extremely helpful with any questions we had. They helped organize all of our tours and guided us on the things we needed to get. They even held our luggage when we came back from Machu Picchu before heading to the airport. 10/10 service thanks to Suly.

The place is amazing. Good breakfast, reception and staff that are super willing to help. I had a problem while my stay, as I got sick and they helped me call to the hospital and support while I was having treatment. Location is a highlight and the bedrooms and bathroom are as nice as possible. Good value for money. My next stay in cusco will be there! Nothing. I really appreciate all the help they gave me!!!

Shower was a bit cold for my liking.

The location was okay, but it was also down a creepy alley and wasn’t very clear where the hotel was. The showers were freezing cold. Do not expect any hot water during your stay here. The beds were not clean and someone may as well have been sleeping there the night before. One of my beds was wet in the middle with a brown stain. I mentioned to staff and they did nothing. The breakfast was sub optimal. The room windows have no actual screen or real bolt. So you’re just relying on trusting your neighbors and staff…which..I wouldn’t.

We really enjoyed staying at La Posada del Viajero, whilst exploring Cusco and the Sacred Valley. The location was perfect, as everything we needed was in walking distance. The rooms were well equipped and the beds were comfortable. There was no issue with hot water and there were even heaters in the rooms. The staff were amazing and always on hand to help with our needs. Suly, Sarit, Anthony, Iris and Sergio went out of their way to make us feel at home. We stayed at La Posada del Viajero 5 times in all and the luggage storage service was invaluable. For an excellent location and friendly service, I highly recommend La Posada del Viajero. 10/10.

Outstanding service by Anthony, who allow us to store our luggages. We were able to rest in the afternoon and drink mate de coca before our late flight to Lima. All the staff were friendly. None

The room was excellent.

It was quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle but also it’s a 3 min walk to the main road. I don’t think we were mentally prepared for the stairs we had to climb with our luggage to get to the secondary living space, but this isn’t a negative thing.

Nice location, only a few minutes walk from the main square This is a very unpleasant stay. I didn't know the hotel was undergoing constructions all day from 8am to 6pm and I was not informed before or after booking confirmation, otherwise I could have found another accommodation. 1. The hotel intentionally lure/deceive guests without disclosing the huge construction that’s going on since November 2025 (see other customer complaints/review screenshots) and won’t be completed for probably another 6 months at least. The photos on Booking.com are a lie, a scam, and look nothing like the real photos I took of the property. They claim they offer guests 50% discount of regular rate to compensate for the inconvenience. Honestly the hotel should not be open for business until the entire construction is finished, so that the guests don't have to subject to constant noise, dust and inconvenience. Lacking of empathy and respect is ridiculous! 2. The room doesn't have any heatings. Even with the extra blanket, it's still very cold. 3. WiFi signal is very unstable and there was no internet connection. See my picture proof. 4. I have been to 165 countries and stayed in many hotels. Never heard of such an early check-out at 10am. This is unacceptable to force guests out that early. I had to beg for a late checkout since I couldn’t get any proper sleep. 5. The walls are so thin. There is NO soundproofing. I can hear the guests next door snoring, talking and even farting non-stop all night! 6. They assigned me Room 110, which faces a huge construction zone. The construction workers started banging the walls, talking loudly, blasting music and smoking cigarettes outside my room starting at 8am. The smell, noise and dust came through my bathroom window.

I booked this place on a last minute deal from Booking.com. I believe that the property is undertaking renovations and I ended up with and room because of the price I paid. I really hope that all rooms there are not in that shape. If so, they are over charging for what you get. The location is wonderful and the staff are great. The brekky is ok. Room smelled and bathroom was extremely tiny
